Hello everyone,

I'm staying on property & considering renting a crib from one of the Orlando crib rental services that I found by google search. Does anyone have any experience renting a crib? I want a real, full-size crib, not a pack-n-play. Does Disney rent real cribs? One of the sites offers a weekly crib for $30/week, has anyone tried it? If so, do they set up & break down the crib for you?

Please weigh in if you have experience renting a real crib.

We rented a crib from A Baby's Best Friend. I don't know about the company you are renting from... but we had to set up the crib on our own. It was easy... DH had it done in less than 10 minutes. We had bell services bring it up to the room and pick up the box on the day we left (give them plenty of notice). It was the best "investment" we ever made... dd slept comfortably and so did we! :)

I believe Disney has some cribs at certain resorts... the most common are Pack N Plays though. The cribs are not guaranteed... and are first come first served. We rented so that we could guarantee a crib... dd won' sleep in a Pack N Play.

Renting is a good option for some... if you are comfortable with the price and rental specifics then go for it.

We have also used A Baby's Best Friend and were really happy with everything we rented from them. We have rented cribs, baby swings, and toddler beds from them. They are very nice and prompt. The only option through WDW at the time was pack and plays and my DD would not sleep in one. Just make sure you understand the rental agreement and follow their instructions and you will be fine. We did have to put the beds together but it didn't take longer than 10 minutes.

After a day in the park, pack n' play is awesome!....our babies always loved them! The kids are exhausted.

You could go BUY one at Walmart for under $60 ($54.84)and you have it for any occasion, any place. If you have your own car, stop in a the Orlando walmart for it. Some babies have trouble cause they are not use to it. We got our twins into them at grandmas and when we travelled, they were fine. Just a suggestion but trying to think what might help you in a simple way.

This is maybe not ethical, but I was with a couple on a trip to Calif who bought one, used it for 5 days then RETURNED it, no problems. (It was still immaculate but really...) I said nothing. But they hated WM so had no guilty conscience....

I guess that doesn't help with you looking to rent a crib for the baby, but PP are good.
