Anyone remember this PBS (?) Series?

It was a live action show about a (teenage) brother and sister whose Father went missing and they would "teleport" themselves into various mythical stories to try to find him. The sister was in a wheel chair but could walk when she was in the other "dimension."

My DH and I use to watch it occasionally on PBS, I think, years ago. Even though we weren't kids.

Now my DD11 is really into Rick Riordan's series. She is just finishing up the Percy Jackson series and I was shopping for the new books for her and suddenly thought of this old TV series.

I'm racking my brain but can't remember the name of it. Thinking of tracking it down and hoping to be able to buy the series for her while she is interested in the subject of mythology - Greek and Egyptian.

I posted this question on the Family Board already but thought there was more traffic on the CB and so maybe someone here would know better.

I remember this series! I was flipping channels one day and found it. It wasn't on PBS very long, was it? Or, maybe I just didn't see many of them. Please post if you find the series on dvd.

Sigh... I soon discovered this myself.

There were only 13 episodes made. Too bad.

But searching on Amazon, there seems to be a series of books based on it. So, this may be worth investigating for DD11 because she's about to have book withdrawal after finishing the entire PJ series. Lol.
