Anyone remember the orginial Pantene shampoo?

I'm not talking about the formula they are currently using....I'm talking about when it first came out (mid 80's I think). I had always used it, til they changed. The new one isn't nearly as good as the old. Well, over the weekend, we went to Sam's Club and they were passing out samples of the new Dove shampoo. I used it last night and once the fragrance hit me, I was immediately transported back 15 year ago! Not only does the new Dove smell the same, it works the same! I love it!!

I remember that! I remember "treating" myself to it once in a while, because it was more expensive than most of the other shampoos out there. That was right when I first started buying my own stuff.

I loved the old formula!!! I am still in search of a replacement shampoo. I've even tried the new Dove and not sure I liked it that much... I wish they'd bring the old Pantene back!

Which Dove formula did you try? I had the moisterizing one. My DD tried it this morning. She has a problem with her hair getting knotty after she shampoos...she usually has to use a conditioner just to brush it! Not only was she able to brush it out easily, she has blonde hair and it really made it look clean and much brighter! Went out to Sam's tonight and got a big bottle!!

Havent used Pantene, but I want to recommened something else-

the Aussie brand of shampoos/conditioners. They are not cheap, but are great at de-tangling, conditioning and adding shine. I have a big head of permed hair, and it works great!
