I imagined that the Doozer's constructions were like candy glass. Even now I feel like they'd taste like Jolly Ranchers....yuuuuum......

I just got one of the DVDs - I can't wait to watch it. My favorite was always Red.

Where did you get a DVD? It looks like the season 1 doesn't come out until September.

I have one of the DVD's. It has the first episodes and a cartoon. It explains how Uncle Travelin' Matt discovered outer space. I also have a doll of Red Fraggle and 2 little Doozer figures that sit on my desk!

My boys are 25 & 23 now - they loved Fraggle Rock!!

This was my 19 year old Dd's favorite show, as soon as she heard the music playing she would come running from wherever she was in the house!

She also has a Red doll and a couple of Doozers that she picked up in the shop at the Disney Studios near MuppetVision this past December.

I'll have to buy the DVD's and put them away for her for the next time she's realizing how tough it is to be a grown up.

Where did you get a DVD? It looks like the season 1 doesn't come out until September.

It's a special edition DVD called "Where It All Began" and must be the same one Cebhfhionn mentioned. It has "Beginnings", "Wembley and the Gorge", and "Let the Water Run" on it. Special features are a musical history and an animated episode. I don't remember where I got it (probably Target or Best Buy - it was a while ago) but I haven't watched it yet.

I loved Fraggle Rock when I was a kid! I saw the Where It All Began DVD at Walmart when I was Christmas shopping and decided to get it for my DD6. I thought it would be cool to sort of pass on the tradition...anyway...she opened it on Christmas morning and we popped it in and watched a little. Love it still! Well, later that day I was opening a Christmas present from my mom and guess what it was??? Fraggle Rock Where It All Began! She remembered how much I used to love it!

Another funny story...when my brother and I were young my mom took us to Skyline Caverns one day and my brother said this looks just like Fraggle Rock!

I also loved Fraggle Rock! Dh and I were just discussing it the other day as a matter-of-fact. Unfortunately Dh didn't like the show. I know, I know. I am sooo ashamed!!!
