anyone refer for the $50disneydirect gc

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows what this entails. DSIL did it online, but couldn't get into the site we were given. She was given a link which gave her only option of ordering the dvd. She ordered it & was asked who refered her & our name & address. Does this sound right? This is our first "official" referal. The $50. GC sure would be nice with Christmas quickly approaching.

I referred a friend of mine and she did the DVD request from that website provided. She requested the DVD and put my info as the contact. Today I received a letter from my guide that they received the referral and were attempting to contact her. I guess at that point they will do the "telephone tour" which has to be completed in order to receive the gift card.

I am anxious to hear more about this, too. I have some friends that are interested in the DVC information and I thought I would use the gc's for their referrals to buy gifts to send to Katrina victims. Our town has "adopted" Long Beach, MS and my DH has decided he wants to go when the town sends construction help next month. Knowing him, I am sure he will meet some families he would like to send some Xmas gifts.

I just referred two co-workers. One said that she could only get the DVD and she provided my information for the referral. The other filled something out online and then received a telephone call back and participated in the telephone tour (which took about 10 minutes). Annmarie

I received the $25 gift cc a month ago and cant decide what to order. now i just received a promo from disney direct order before oct 2 and get $20 off my order, darn $45 dollars free and i still cant decide what to order, i guess i really dont need anything.

I got a letter thanking me for refering DB & DSIL, but they were only able to get the dvd. They did give my info for referral, but no GC yet.

nhmomx2- I'm not sure if it's still going on. It seems to me they had to take the "tour by the end of Sept. But I may be wrong on that. Sorry, mind is going (I blame having children not age lol).

Deesknee - I completely agree with you on having children and losing your mind. Mine started to go at the tender age of 27 suspiciously in sync with the pregnancy of my first child. One of those life moments that really make you go 'hmm'

I just got my GC and wasn't expecting it. I had told a coworker about what a wonderful time we had on our first trip using DVC. He asked a lot of questions and sounded interested. I mentioned that there was a referral program. He never said anything after that, I figured he'd talked to the wife and she had shot down the idea.

Well I guess they contacted DVC and listed me as the referral because I just got the $50 GC today, it was a pleasant and unexpected surprise.
