Anyone recently return from AKL?

DH, DS and I are heading to AKL for a 3 day stay the weekend after Thanksgiving to look at the Christmas lights and see the AKL tree. Does anyone have an update on the construction and any issues with AKL.

Hi,

We got back on the 29th from our 8th stay. In the main lodge we could not hear any construction noise from our room on the 4th floor over looking the Arusha Savanna from the Zebra Trail. We did have a small leak over the sink area from the 5th floor above. You could also see the construction that is happening out beyound the Sunset Savanna. I would say that you would not want a view of the Sunset Savanna while the construction is going on even though they have moved some of the animals back out onto that savanna.
