Sorry if this is a repeat for anyone but I just got this through my email and wanted to share it with you all.....

Greetings from Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings,

As you know, at The Walt Disney Company, we are always striving to bring couples the best experience possible. We wanted to take this time to update you on some enhancements for Disney's Wedding Pavilion. Below is a statement from our team on the newest enhancement to our space:

We are continually working to improve and enhance the Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding experience for our Guests. As you may recall, last July we completed a modern-chic redesign of our bridal studio, Franck's. Keeping with tradition, this July, we are excited to announce enhancements to Disney's Wedding Pavilion. This year, our Pavilion is celebrating its 'Sweet 16', so to commemorate this milestone window upgrades are being installed to further refine the ambiance of this beautiful space. Known for its Victorian style, Disney's Wedding Pavilion will continue to provide couples with the perfect setting for their happily-ever-after.

We invite you to Connect with us on Facebook for additional information and photos of this enhancement.

Happily Ever After,

Disney's Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons

Weren't the new windows posted on Facebook a few days ago?

I'm actually quite relieved to see them. I was envisioning the brightly colored stain glass windows of my childhood church. :crazy2: But these look very transparent.

When I read the email I amused myself with thoughts of something like this:

Disney wedding planners in their daily meeting all huddled around saying "They know!" "We're getting daily phone calls about the construction!" "We have a leak! Someone told them about the windows!" "What do we tell them?!?" "We can't hold them off forever!!!"...................... "I know we will tell them we have been planning it all along and it's our sweet 16!, They won't suspect a thing!":rotfl2:

Oh wow, those windows look really nice! I was envisioning really gaudy stained glass too, this looks beautiful and classy.

Just got the email and read it this morning. I REALLY hope that you can see through those windows because if not then my idea for a very open feel may go down the tube.. I also hope you can still see the castle behind the "alter" area

Wow, I can't believe that they installed these windows so fast! We were just married there on Sat July 16, 2011 and it looks like they were finished by Wed! Our planner was telling us that some brides don't like people being able to see into the wedding pavilion (like boats going by) and that other brides loved it being open. Honestly on the day of our wedding we were so busy we didn't notice either way - the wedding pavilion is just so beautiful either way!

Oh those are beautiful! I cant wait to see them in Sept, we have an appt to do site viewings for our Wishes Vow Renewal at the Wedding Pavillion and the Living Seas Salon! Didnt have a big wedding so my DS (came into alot of money) decided he wanted to give me the wedding of my dreams!

This has to be to hide the coming DVC onslaught....:confused3

Exactly. I looked at pictures of the windows from my wedding 10 long years ago and the windows on the sides of the Pavilion were completely transparant with views of GF clearly visible. Now guests and photos will be spared the unsightliness of construction, though my wedding wasn't spare the big walls barely disguising the construction of the then-new GF pool :) The new windows are quite nice, though. I wonder if they will stay?
