I got mine on Wednesday. I like it, but it starts off very slowly, the "intro" took me 3 hours, 45 minutes to get through before the real game started. Remember in game one how you ran around Destiny Island before Sora got sucked to Transit Town? You learned how to fight and use items and stuff? Well, same thing only it takes F O R E V E R to get through. Now that I'm really into the game, I like it!

Anyone else? How do you like it?

I am playing it. Yes....the cut scenes are loooong. I just finally got Sora and the gang today. I gave it up for 9yodd to start it for the weekend.

The strategy guide is a little confusing at first and older dd refreshed me with equipping things.:rotfl:

So are you playing on "Proud" mode? I am.

We got it yesterday. My dd had been saving her Christmas money for it. When I went to bed last night she was still playing it. I'll have to ask her today if she ever came up for air. ;)

I just posted this on the VMK board. Decided it might get more exposure over here.

Have to add my 2 cents in here. Had the game for a couple days but havent had the time to play alot. Just finished the tutorial. All I can say is WOW!!!. This game is fantastic. 3 hours for the tutorial alone, and the story all throught the tutorial is great so you dont mind playing it. I was told by the people at Eb that the game will last about 130 hrs!!! Is that true? I hope so because my son and I are really enjoying it.

I noticed some thing cool in one of the levels but dont want to give it away for people who do not have the game. If you want to see it highlight below.

I am sure everyone who has played up to the castle must have noticed this but I thought it was so cool. The wizard from fantasia inside the castle is named Yen Sid. My son didnt see it at first but I noticed right aware that its Disney spelled backwards!! I wonder how many other little hidden things are in this game? I will have to keep my eyes open.

DS15 has been playing it since Wednesday evening, stayed up til 3:30am the last 2 nights (he's on spring break). He keeps coming in and telling me all the stuff but I have no clue what he is talking about LOL. He did ask me why they have a Christmas Land but no Hannukah Land (he's just being sarcastic). I think he is in Lion King land right now (but I could be wrong). Have fun everyone!

Yeah his name is mentioned in Fantasia too, Walt did that on purpose... ;)

Thanks John, I didn't catch that!!!

Well 9yodd passed me up. I was playing for 3 days and she passed me up in 3 hours.:rotfl2:

She woke up and jumped on it before me! Have to Dis and drink coffee this morning..... :coffee:

DS has been playing constantly since he got it...I just went and asked him where he was in the game and he said Tron level. I don't know how far that is into the game as I don't play but he is loving it!

I am about half waay through the game and just dids the 1000 heartless battle. Easily the ost fun I have had in awhile. Great new story and battle system. I am about to go through my second time through the worlds. I have valor and wisdom, and also master form. All very fun to play with. Oh and i am on proud mode.

How can you tell how far you are in the game?

Just wanted to say we are loving this game. My DS and I are each playing separately. We both are in The Land of Dragons. The cut scenes are long but I love them. We have to make ourselves stop (well, I have to make my DS stop) or we would never stop playing. I can't believe where some of you guys are. Way to go. We are in the standard/normal mode. I am definitely not good enough for Proud mode.

If you want to see the secret ending, I would recommend starting over on proud. On standard you have to have a complete journal, every treasure and map and record on mini games. That is just to hard. On proud, all you have to do is seal all of the worlds.

we picked it up on Friday, and DH has invested about 11 hrs so far. I'm not really good at rpgs, so I like to watch him play. LOVE the Final Fantasy games. We're really impressed with KHII so far. My favorite so far is the BW segment (no spoilers here) - SO clever! Each world actually blows us away.

Can't wait for him to start playing again (it's hard during the week b/c we're so tired after work)!

Way to go BVG and SquareEnix!

DD and DS were playing in the standard/easy mode, but they finished it yesterday!

At least they got to the part with the credits and it said The End. Is that the "real" end though??

DS(10) got it last Wednesday and as of last night he has FINISHED it on the easy level.

I have finally made it to the Mulan world. the pre-game was longgggg. I am playing the standard mode and it seems easier than the last game...guess I should have started in proud...but do not want to spend 5 hrs doing all the pre-game again.
So far I liked the first one better. It seems like the "movie" scenes are longgg and so far I don't like that you have to complete task/missions to finish a scene. I liked the more freestyle of just running around figuring it out on your own. I do seem to be doing a lot of watching as opposed to playing.

I do like it, just so far....not as much as the first one.
I was sad when Roxas was gone....I know...

I've played it a little more now, and I agree it's too easy (I'm on Standard, or whatever the middle option was). I do think I like the original better, but this still isn't bad at all, worth the money (oh, wait, I used a gift certificate...)

I thought the game was much easier than last time too, that is until I got to Beast's Castle the second time. Let me just tell you that the Organization 13 guy you have to fight there kicked my butt quite a few times, like 10, and I am playing in the normal mode. I cna't imagine how hard it would have been if I had been in Proud mode.

My DH & I played the game together all weekend. It started out kinda slow, but we are having fun, and are currently going to all the worlds for the second time. We just got to Tron.

Unfortunatly the game is starting to go downhill again. I just feel like we are wasting our time visting every world again doing little tasks that have nothing to do with the actual story line. And the cut scences never end!

I liked the first Kingdom Hearts better.
