Anyone Play Video Games?

The only thing I own at the moment is an original Gameboy and Tetris.

Between school, work, and everything else, I didn't use my PS2 enough to justify keeping it.

I might buy the new Nintendo thing since you'll be able to download a lot of games from NES, SNES, and N64.

But this is a slow year for all consoles, because each company is preparing for the next gen NINTENDO REVOLUTION. Sony George Forman Gri... I mean PS3, and Micorsoft XBOX 360

What's that about? Yeah the Revolution is going to be good, better than the Cube, but I doubt it will be the console that brings down the house. Remember, this is Nintendo's first attempt at online gameing. Microsoft has a wicked online system, which they will probably bring to the 360. Sony also has already done online play. I guess your calling the PS3 a Forman grill, because it will be better than everything else, like how the Forman grill, is a better grill the everything else. The 360 will have Halo 3 to back it up, along with probably the next generation of Xbox Live.

The Revolution will have online play, but I doubt it will be as good as say Microsoft's online play. The backwards capibility will be the reason the Revolution sells. People will be buying it to play stuff like Super Mario 3....Mario 64....Donkey Kong....ect. The PS3 and the Xbox 360 will be selling for stuff like Socom 3, Halo 3, the next GTA game, (if they are allowed to make one), and some of the new sports games.

There is no doubt that the downloading will be a success. Almost any sony and microsoft player was once Nintendo's, and the nostalgia. And no I called it the forman grill because it the huge, ugly, and bulky. Plus it has a boomerang controller, uhhh. Plus Nintendo will have FREE, you heard me, FREE online play, can anyone say super smash bros. melee. BOOYAH :thewave:

And don't say the graphics will be what makes a game, I mean look a PS2, it has the worst graphics this gen, but it is the best selling. I also like how Nintendo is focusing on gameplay, and not graphics, that is why we play games. Plus Nintendo = 200-250 Microsoft = 300 Sony= 400-500
And the games for the micro and sony might be 60-70 while Nintendo stays the same by sticking to the same format

Yeah, many of the people playing the Xbox and PS2 where Nintendo players, but that's because Nintendo and Sega, where at one point, realy the only thing around. Once Sony came on the scene, Sega kind of dropped out, and once Microsoft came in, Nintendo got a real slap in the face about what is actually possible with these Consoles.

If you think the PS2 is huge, bulky, and ugly, you have apparently never seen an Xbox in person. If you think a Forman Grill is huge, bulky, and ugly, you apparently have never seen an actual grill. And what's wrong with the controller? the Playstation Controller is the best out of all of them, including the 64. With the PS controller, everything is close to your thumbs, and easy to press, plus it is really light.

Free online play just gives me more reason to belive that it's online play, will be worse than the other two consoles.

When someone see's a new game...what do they usually rave about? The graphics. I've seen great games, not sell well, because it might have had great gameplay, but terrible graphics. 'Nuff said. Plus usually the Console worries about the graphics department, and the Game companies that make the games worry about the gameplay of their games.

Sure the PS3 and the 360 will have a suped up price tag, but once the mad rush to get the things will end, the price will drop quick. And I don't get what you mean by "while Nintendo stays the same by sticking to the same format". Does that mean that the Revolution's games, will look like the Cube's games? Huh? If that is what it means, then it will REALLY hurt sales.

Don't get me wrong, the Revolution will be a great system, just as the Cube was, I just don't think it will capture the masses, as the Xbox and the PS2 did. The 360 and the PS3 will do that, because those companies are coming off of HUGE wins with the 180 and the PS2. Nintendo is coming off of the Cube, which was kind of a flop, so Nintendo might not be back in the same kind of shape as the where with the 64, until the next system.

My brother and I own a Game Cube. I rarely ever play it, but I still like it. Super Smash Brothers Meelee (or whatever) is my favorite.

My brother also owns a NintendoDS, which he LOVES. He plays the Starwars Episode Three game.

And I didn't come up with it either, it has been on several websites. And no, the wavebird, was considered to be the best controller over at Ign and gamespot, and G4 tv. And no they will go to the format of this gen with the tv's. Also Sony is becoming like Nintendo during the N64 era, with high developement projects , and liscensing fees. Oh and did you know that they copied the button layout for the playstation from the snes. . About graphics, that doesn't explain PS2

I don't care weither or not Sony copied the button layout. It's still, in my opinion, the best controller on the market today.

I doubt it. Like 6 years in Dynasty mode, three diffrent teams, two of them barley decent teams, 1 loss. And that loss was only because I had a cold, and was basically high on Dayquill. Plus I was half asleep. So yeah, beat that.

BTW, I...KNOW...that I could crush you in Madden. I've won around 5-6 Super Bowls in a row...WITH THE LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually I have played halo on it. Okay game. Besides, size wise, I was talking the PS3 was going to be biggest next gen. X BOX is pretty good looking, even though it resembles a computer tower. Not bad though.
And the reason I called it a grill is because of the round top. By the way, Nintendo created the Playstation. Ask me and I will tell more.

Maybe, but it has the Sony name on it, and Sony created the PS2, so yeah.
