Anyone play the game "Rummikub"? Need help with the rules.

Don't you have any of the rules?

I love this game. It is my favorite!

Have you looked on-line to see if they might have them?

We have the rules by my dgf made a move last night (um... not that kinda move) that I thought was "illegal". I had a 3 of a kind (I think 10's) in front of me. She took each 10 and used them to create 3 new runs on her side of the table. Does that make sense? And is that "legal"?

If that's legal, then it means that if I have a 9 and she has a 10,11,12, I can take all of those and make a 9,10,11,12 on my side.

Yes you can take anybodies tiles and use them to create new runs or three of a kind as long as they use them all in that hand they are playing. You can't take the three and put one back in your hand they all must be played at the same time. Good luck it is a fun game

So if I understand correctly...

If I have 3 10's in front of me and my dgf has two 11s and 12s of the same colors as my two of my 3 10's and a 10 that's not of the same color(that would make a valid set), she can take my 3 10's and make 2 runs and a set for herself?

If I have a 8,9 and she has a 10,11 and 12, I can take those and make a 8,9,10,11,12 run on my side?

If I have a black 5 and she has a red, blue and yellow 5, I can take them and make four 5's in front of me?

I LOVE Rumikub!!

As long as the person uses at least ONE of their own pieces - yes they can take your pieces. Generally they can just add to the run - they don't have to move it to their side - the point of the game is to be the first one with no pieces left. It's not the "sides" of where the pieces are. (does that make sense?)
