Anyone planning to watch ABC's new show..Sons & Daughters???

I'm not impressed w/ the previews...just curious what others think!

The commercials I've seen were funny, so I'll probably tune in and see how the show is.

The first couple of commercials were funny but then they started getting a little to close to R rated to watch when DD is up.

I'm definitely going to watch it. I'm not sure if I'll like it or not. It looks funny, but it also looks like it's bordering on sexual innuendo between family members. That just makes me cringe. The third season of Arrested Development went a little far in that arena.

Our local newspaper reviewer of television said there were too many characters to keep track of. But he thought it was funny in an edgy kind of way. I'll probably give it a look-see.

No way! Crude is too mild of a word to describe that program. We won't be watching it. No way would I consider it funny.

Yep, TAR is on at 10pm. Sons and Daughters premieres tonight at 9pm (Eastern time).

Thanks. I can't believe they moved the time. ugh. ahhh, I remember the days that 10pm wasn't late. no longer the case, unfortunately.

Well, to answer the op's question, I guess I will be tuning in to Sons and Daughters after all.

I can't even stomach the commericials - no way in the world would I watch it. My take on it is that Lorne Michaels is the producer. Lorne has one of the longest running shows in the history of TV...you know he had to pitch it to his home team of NBC. I think the show is going to be sooooo horrible that NBC couldn't even considered giving it to him as a favor for his loyalty.

I mean if you have to shop your project around like that, IMO if just can't be good

I already have it TIVOed for a season pass!! I figure if Lorne Michaels did SNL, well, then it's worth a shot! I loved SNL in the olden days....OMG! I can't believe I just typed that...but Sons and Daughters...well, it looks hilarious!

Our newspaper did a review of it this morning and said it was the best new comedy of the year. The Max Gale and Dee Wallace characters look like they could really be good. We will be watching!
