Anyone planning for November?

It's more of a late October- early November trip. We'll be there October 26th (leaving on the 25th) until November 3rd! I can't wait! We're going to stay at the Grand Floridian again, it's my absolute favorite.

We plan to go Nov.5-12. Trying to decide where to stay. We went in Nov. 2003 and the weather was nice, we were able to use the pool, and the crowds were low.

Me, DH, DD and her DH and our grandson (currently aged 8 months) are flying into Miami on 1 Nov. Driving up to Ft Wilderness on Nov 2. (The flight prices reduce greatly on Nov 1.) We have booked a cabin for 6 nights and then move to our DVC (Boardwalk) for 7 nights. When I spoke with CRO I said I was looking for the largest possible discount for FW and I was told to ring back in Sept/Oct. I believe AP discounts (if available) are the largest and that it could be very cost effective just to buy one AP.

We are so looking forward to this! :earboy2:

We're planning for November 27 to December 4 at the WL. No reservations yet but hopefully soon.

Its official we are booked from 11/27 - December 1st at ASMo :) :) Just a quick 4 night trip since our APs expire on the 29th. Not bad since we will also be going in October too :bounce: I am excited to get another Christmas in :)

I guess I am.....we're supposed to go in August but DH has decided he wants to see the Christmas, so late Nov it is

Ressies for 3 rooms at POR 11/12 - 11/19. This will be my GD's first trip with us. I will also be looking for AP discounts if any.

We'll be at WL from 11/27 thru 12/4. This will be our first stay while the holiday decorations are up. Can't wait!

We're in.... 11/25 through to 12/4...Last time we went this is the same week and it was awesome.. BUT this time I got a friend to give me their timeshare for FREE... WAHOO !!!

Nov 12-19 here. We'll be celebrating my 50th birthday that week. Isn't it nice of WDW to do so many wonderful things to celebrate 50 years - just couldn't let that one slip by!

I was just there last November from the 21-28. The weather is GREAT!! :sunny:

Hope you have a great trip with the mouse!!! ::MickeyMo

badhairday

Trying to decide...right now I have holidays mid december, but I could switch them to 11/27. I'm just trying to figure out when the better time would be...crowds are probably more of an issue, then pool time. Is the weather in December going to be too cold for the pools? I know it's not much of a variation, like 2 weeks or so, but can anyone offer up some advice as to which week to do?

Tracey

We will be there from Nov. 4th to 11th, 2 days at AKL and then 5 days at CR. :cool1:

Well I haven't booked anything yet I am waiting for the school schedule to be released for next fall. That should be another 3-4 weeks away! More waiting. :rolleyes1

But as the plan stands now we will be flying out on Friday Nov. 11th and staying till the 20th. Staying at POP again. If it turns out that there is no school on thurs. the 10th then we will leave a day sooner. :cool1:

We were there last Nov. 6-14th. Did the main parks the 7-10th then the water parks on the 11th and 12th trying to avoid the park crowds for vetern's weekend. And then my DD and I did Super Soap on Sat. the 13th before we all flew home on the 14th. There were some crowds but the mon-wed. were the slowest days as it was just after jersey week and right before vetern's and super soap. So we are avoiding jersey week again this time and showing up just in time for super soap! I got my DD hooked!

Forgive my stupidity, but what exactly is Jersey week?
Hi! You're not stupid- I never heard of Jersey Week until last year, when we were at WDW during the middle of it! It's not an "Official" Disney event, just an informal gathering of NJ folks.

The NJ schools are closed much of the week of November 7-11 this year (the actual week varies) because of the NJ State Teachers' Convention and Election Day. Many NJ folks take the opportunity to head to WDW for that week, since they will not miss many school days, and the crowds are much lower than in summer or the holiday season.

We were at WDW during Jersey Week last year... I was really worried about crowds, but it was fine. Yes, there were lots of people there from NJ. The crowds, IMO, weren't bad at all. We walked on to many rides, but there were some that got longer lines at midday. I think that happens, though, no matter what time of the year you go. There really isn't such a thing as a time of year when it is super slow anymore.

As long as you plan a little bit, get to the parks early, and don't stress out, you'll be fine! November is a great time to be at the World- wonderful weather and much fewer crowds than at most other times of the year.

My fiance and I will be honeymooning in Disney from November 27-December 4. We don't really care what the weather is like as long as it is bitter cold in Illinois so we can laugh at all of our families.LOL :sunny:

we'll be there from 11/5 through 11/12 while the NJ teachers are at the convention.

We went last year 12/4-12/11 and the weather was gorgeous (more like October than December) so we're hoping for great weather again this year.
