May I am heading towards Ocean City, MD. That's all I have thus far for confirmed plans. Dropping Mom off at friends, I'll spend the night, then half hour drive to OC and I'll be on the bicycle for 3 days. Back to friends for a night and home.

Paying car off and can't plan much until that and I can save up some cash. I'd like to get a motorcycle ride down to the Blue Ridge Parkway with my tent. Also talk at work of a ride up through the Adirondacks, except the couple planning that that also expect me to go, doesn't remember having kids as theirs are in their late 20's and 30's now. They want me to go on all these bicycle and motorcycle trips, but they plan them all around holidays of which I have to be in the back yard smoking some ribs with my kids.

Maybe. Not exactly a vacay but looking into going out to meet my girlfriend in St. Louis for four or five days this spring if we can find a good time. She is starting a new job and having her lil' sis move in with her which is a lot of stress as she seems to not believe in doing chores... That's putting a bit of a damper in our plans. Not so much worried about the virus but if it makes flight prices drop that'd be a plus for my wallet.

WDW in April for long weekend. DD's spring break was cut short because the school year started late due to building renovations. Couldn't just stay home staring at each other, lol. Instead we will fight the spring break crowds and wonder what we were thinking. ;)

Dallas for spring break in April. Not worried about the virus. Already booked my hotel, but I am the type to check constantly for discounts. Used travel funds for flights. I check that too, though!

I have 4 trips planned in various stages. No worries about viruses 🦠 but I will buy cancellation insurance and any other protections available to make sure I don’t lose any 💰.
August: South Carolina
October: Universal Orlando
November: South Carolina
December: Walt Disney World
That’ll take care of all my 2020 time off.

lol, thanks for the replies but no one has answered my questions, do you think prices might drop cause of the virus, and are you waiting to see if they do

Prices might drop. I never wait to find out. I buy all my vacation travel at prices I am happy to pay and then forget whether it's the "best" deal or not. Nothing but an act of frustration. LOL. I think I get pretty good deals overall, but probably not THE lowest.

Sorry, low. No, not waiting for any discounts but we’ll certainly take advantage of them if they happen. Hope prices DO drop like after 9/11. But we’re going anyway as long as the parks are open and we can get to our destinations.

I am always hoping for the prices to drop.

I usually will book a cancellable room and keep looking. If I kind a cheaper / better option I will book that and cancel the other room.

I don't know that the US is at a place where the Coronavirus is going to have a huge impact on vacation destinations.

We leave for England and a cruise around the British Isles on May 1. We’ve been planning for over a year and unless conditions force a travel ban, we’re going. Although Coronavirus really isn’t on my radar, I was secretly hoping Brexit would devalue the £ a little, which it has not. Exchange against CAD is brutal. :scared:

I'm in a holding pattern for summer vacation this year. DGD will be attending a science sleep away camp and we currently have 4 weeks on deposit but will drop it to 2 weeks once her mother figures out what dates the two of them can visit each other. The man and I are toying w/ the idea of accepting an invitation to stay upstate NY but I don't anticipate any price changes to travel there.

I was at my travel agent yesterday and she said they are super busy right now, so I don't think the coronavirus is causing most people not to travel.
I think the prices in Las Vegas will drop if as the time gets closer the rooms are not booking up (but that is usual).

My trips are planned, booked and paid for.
We leave the 6th for a Western Caribbean 7 night cruise.
May is 10 nights at WDW
June is the family 7 night Disney cruise

We are leaving March 10 for a couple weeks in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg, not concerned about the virus.

I'm planning DC in June with 2 of my nephews and Poland in September with my DD.

I'm waiting to see what flights do for Poland before I book it.
