Hi!
Does anyone know the details? We will have the DDP but we will be short some credits so we'll have to pay OOP for some meals. Trying now to figure out which ones to pay for.
Is it a set price and if so does anyone know the price? Does it include an appetizer, entree and dessert? Do we get to select from the regular menu?
I booked the package a couple of hours ago and I loved being able to do it online now. I tried to search for this info but I couldn't find anything so I apologize for so many questions.

Thanks! :)

Hello-Even though I have never been to WDW; I chose to book the F! package for our trip in May 2011. The price differs based on which restaurant you choose to dine in (Mama Melrose, Brown Derby, Hollywood and Vine). We are on the DDP and (while paying for some OOP) chose to use our dining credits for Mama Melrose (including an appetizer, entree, dessert, drinks). This is one instance where an appetizer is included on the DDP! :yay:

I look at it this way-if there is any chance that we can cut a potential 2 hour wait into a 40 minute wait...I'm gonna go for it

We are not using the DDP and recently made our reservation for the F! dining package at Mama Melrose's. I believe you order off the menu and pay as you normally would for OOP dining. The only difference I can see to booking this "package" vs. making a regular ADR for MM's is that you have to guarantee your reservation with a credit card and there is a cancel fee if you are a no show. Not sure if you have to give a CC if you are on the DDP.

When we did the dinner package at Mama Melrose's a couple years ago, it was a fixed price. You paid a fixed amount and got to order an appetizer, entree, dessert and drink. Seems like it was around $35/person.

You are correct...I have this booked for our upcoming trip. It is a set price for the meal. We are not on the DDP this time around and chose to pay out of pocket for it. It is pricey but since we are budeting our meals all week, it will be nice to have one meal where we can order anything we want. We always do the FDP because we like the convenience of not having to get in line early for the show. So I am paying for the convenience of the reserved seating and a nice sit down meal where the price on the menu doesn't matter.

We did F! pkge at Mam Melrose on 12/29/10 and used reg DDP. You do get app entree and dessert whether you pay OOP or use DDP. thought it was a good use of one TS credit as you get the apps. By the way, meal was excellent(DH enjoyed his steak more than the prime rib at Le Cellier the night before), you may read otherwise, but we had a wonderful meal and we even stopped to compliment the chefs before we left. Had great seats for the show, although we did go about 45 minutes before.

I think we're going to use a TS credit for Mama Melrose and pay OOP for 50's Prime Time. I went through all of our ADR's and 50's is definitely the cheapest one.
Thanks for the info about the steak Connears, I betcha' that's what my DH and my two sons go with. It's nice to know that appetizers are included that's a rare find these days!!

We paid out of pocket last year. We got app, entree, dessert, and soft beverage at Mama Melroses. I believe it includes tax but not tip. The access to Fantasmic was great; a private entrance and no waiting in line. Really a great option if the parks are busy. It sounds like Fantasmic is limited to only a few days a week so I would imagine it is crowded quite often. Do make sure you get there as instructed as they will open up the reserved seats to the general public after a certain time.

I would call Disney World dining to get the exact price for your time of travel. You will have to secure the reservation with a credit card and know that if you want to cancel there is a timeframe in which you have to do it....I believe it may be 48 hours pior to the reservation but please double check when you make the reservation.

The show is great.....we enjoy it each time we go.

P.S. 50's is probably the better choice to pay out of pocket as you suggested since Mama Melroses Fantasmic package is only one credit.
