Anyone pay for SW EBCI with Travel Funds?

Has anyone paid for their Southwest flights early bird check in with travel funds? I was hoping to do that for our October flights but it doesn't appear to let me do that - only with CC.

I think I read somewhere that you can not pay for EBCI with SW credit. I would love it if I was wrong on this one!

as you have mentioned the only way to book the Early Bird is by using Credit Card....

also, if you cancel, this fee is not returned

others have said if you make changes but maintain the same Confirmation number, that the early bird is not affected ( have never done this myself )

Ahhh....guess I was just hoping I was wrong in not being able to use travel funds.
