Dh and I saw them in concert 12 years ago when we were dating (we've been married now for 10 years). I use to just love looking at Jon Bon Jovi. In fact, that was the last rock concert I was at until..........March 1st when they played at the United Center in Chicago. They were outstanding!!! AND.............Jon still looks as good as ever!!! It was his Birthday March 2nd - he turned 41 and we had the good fortune to sing to him. They're new album Bounce is really, really good. Dh and I felt so young again at the concert. It was a blast!!! Has anyone else seen them on their Bounce Tour or is anyone still a big BonJovi fan??

A co-worker of mine won tickets this morning on the radio to sit on the stage during his upcoming concert in Pittsburgh. She is thrilled!

Oh my god!! Yes!!!! I have been a huge Bon Jovi fan since I was about 13 (I'm now 32). I went to see them last summer in Mansfield and went to the show at Mohegan Sun on Thursday night. They are and always have been a great band to see live. Jon just doesn't seem to age. He bounces around that stage the whole time. What I really like about them is what a great group of guys they turned out to be. They are all very down to earth and really enjoy what they do and it shows. Going to a Bon Jovi concert is a great way for me to go back in time and forget about all my "grown up responsibilities" and just have fun.

thelk4 - Tell your co-worker she is the luckiest girl on the planet!! To see Jon and Ritchie that close up. WOW~~~
I forget to mention - Heather Locklear (Ritchie Sambora's wife) was at the concert as well. She looks great too!! I think Jon get better looking with age!! He has the best smile!!!I bought a poster with Jon and Ritchie on it. I wanted to hang in on our bedroom ceiling :earseek: but, dh made me hang it in the garage next to his Shania poster.

Yes, I still love Bon Jovi!! :bounce:
I probably won't get to see them on the Bounce tour but I did see them my senior year of high school. :teeth:

I'm not a big fan of his music but I think he is absolutely adorable. Last December I saw him Christmas shopping in this great little outdoor mall by my house. They have alot of upscale shops and he was just so so cute. Of course where we live it is not so uncommon to have Bon Jovi sightings:)

I'm not a *huge* fan of him, but I do really like him! We were going to go see him in concert tomorrow night, but DH's hurt his foot and can't walk on it at the moment, and I'm trying to pack for a trip, so we've decided not to. :(

I still like Bon Jovi. And I don't think that Jon Bon Jovi has aged a bit. He's SO extremely good-looking. Hey, maybe we need a Rock Star Ladies Post! :p

I bought their greatest hits cd not too long ago.:) My kids LOVE that cd.:) We listen to atleast 1 song on that cd every morning on the way to school.:) Bon Jovi was in Atlanta not too long ago (last month, I think). I wish I could've been there.:( I love their music.:)

I used to think Jon was the hottie in the band until he and Ritchie sung Wanted Dead or Alive for some awards show. Just the 2 of them and their guitars. I remember noticing Ritchie then and there.:earseek::teeth:

The best thread I've seen today!!!!!:)

I've always loved Bon Jovi!!! My first concert was in 1989 and I had been a fan for about 3 years. It was THE best!!! My DH, who was my boyfriend at the time, took me. He's not a big Jovi fan but puts up with my obsession.:p

"It's all the same. Only the names have changed. Every day it seems were wasting away. Another place where the faces are so cold. I'd drive all night just to get back home. I'm cowboy. On a steel horse I ride. I'm Wanted.....Dead or Alive."

Still a Bon Jovi fan here. Haven't had the opportunity to hear anything from his new CD (we don't get american music stations over here).

:bounce::wave::bounce:

Bon Jovi......YES YES!!! As someone who has been meeting and seeing the guys every time they have been down under, I still am amzed atthe energy they have!!! Even better when you get remembered 2 years down the track!!!!

I saw them in Boston last week, and they were fantastic. I had never seen them in concert before, and I was amazed by how much energy they had onstage. Jon Bon Jovi just doesn't stop! It was a fantastic show.

Now, their opening band, the Goo Goo Dolls, were a different story. They are one of my favorite bands, and I was sooooo looking forward to their set. Well, they were horrible. Johnny Resnick (the singer), kept on talking how he had never been so hung over, and was drinking onstage. He sounded horrible, and had no energy. Very disappointing.

Yes I am a huge fan of Bon Jovi. I love the songs on his new CD, had to purchase it after hearing one of the songs.

Heard information he is purchasing a house in Massachusetts in the western suburbs, was all over the radio a few weeks ago when he came to play at the Fleet Center.

Radio station is talking about doing a slumber party at the neighbors house.

I've never stopped liking them!

Ever since that day in the car I heard "Runaway" then when I heard Jon sing "shot thru the heart!" I was done for. He gives me goosebumps and he's the sexiest rock star out there.

I love the fact that they've been true to themselves and always give the fans what they want and more! They've lasted longer than any other hair band out there back in the 80's and have rolled with the times and matured very nicely ;)

LMJ - I was there with you in Mansfield last year! WHAT a show! Unfortunately I couldn't go to Mohegan...

Bon Jovi does not get the credit or acknowledgement they SO deserve - that's always bothered me.

Hey Bunchkin! I thought you'd show up :D

I actually like them more now than when they first started. That Jon Bon Jovi isn't bad to look at, and that Sambora guy isn't hard on the eyes, either!!:D

MOMTOMOOTOO - I would have froze right there in my tracks! Are you in Monmouth County? Have you seen him driving around in his viper? Oh, what I would give to hang out with him if only just for 5 minutes, I'll bet he's a blast to be around. Dorothea who?;)

When I was "younger" I was infactuated with Ritchie Sambora. I thought I was going to die when he was dating Cher. Now, I think Jon is such a hottie!!! Boy can he move!!! I think I would freeze too Lorix2 if I saw Jon driving his Viper!! Now that's nice visual!!! That Dorothea is a lucky lady indeed!!! ;) At the concert, they let the crowd sing Dead or Alive to them. It was a goosebump moment!!! Hey, Bunchkin - I've seen a million faces and I've Rock them all!!! I think I need to go listen to Bounce!! That's my new theme song!!!

sncbird - I used to be a Ritchie only fan b/c I didn't want to follow everyone else, but boy did that change quickly - though his looks and voice are excellent too.

When you mentioned Cher, you reminded me of how a movie theatre in our area closed down for a few hours while BonJovi and their crew - including Cher saw a movie. It was Londonderry, NH and I think the movie was "Top Gun". They were doing a show in NH.

Remember this one?:

"Cross the border they turn water into wine....some say it's the devils blood your squeezing from a vine..

My first Bon Jovi show was at the Living Room - a little hole in the wall bar in Providence. They did a birthday concert for a local radio station and I won tickets. This was 1985 and I was 14. I thought I was going to die of excitement.

It is so much fun to still be able to see them in concert. It is even more fun to see them when you realize what nice down to earth guys they all are. After the Mohegan Sun show they were playing black jack at the tables with Doug Flutie. No one really bothered them at all. They were just hanginig out having fun at the casino after the concert.

It also makes me crazy that they don't get any respect and never have. People think I'm nuts when they hear that I still like them. Some people only associate them with the other "hair bands" from the 80's. They are so much more than that!!!!
