Anyone out there ever been to Mauritius?

We are considering a trip to Mauritius next year and I would love to hear from anyone who has ever been! What time of year did yo go, what was the weather like? WHo did you fly with and where did you stay? Most importantly, did you like it?!!!!!! Please help!

Went in May 3 years ago. Weather was warm(but not really hot - low 80's) and there was always a gentle breeze blowing.

We flew BA direct and stayed at LeTousserok.

I have been to many places but this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in, certainly for service e.g loads off very attentive staff - they even come along the beach and clean your sunglasses for you !!

This hotel has also just had a £25m upgrade - however there are many hotels on Mauritius of a very high standard

Mauritius is a very beautiful island with friendly people.

It is very much worth a visit.
