Anyone notice the reservation numbers for dining?

I called last night and tonight for several dinner reservations. At this point they are up to 44459###...last night they were at 44438###...thats a difference of 21,000 numbers!

Wonder why so many people are making reservations?

I think almost everyone knows on here why! hehe!

Of course those numbers also include every restaurant, everyday of the year, but still....big numbers.

I noticed that, too. I've made several over the past few days, and they keep jumping by 20k each time I call. BUT, somehow I have still managed to get EVERY ADR I want at the time I request (within 10 min or so). Wonder why that is...?

From 1pm when i made my Le Cellier ressie till 3pm when i got home from work to finish my reservations they booked 6203 more.

I called yesterday morning (the day free dining opened for the public), and I was on hold about 2 minutes. I would go ahead and call!
