I have been eagerly waiting for the Fl Res rates to come out for our annual trip to YC/Conc for the week of July 4th. We have always been able to stay for under $400 but not this year! The Fl resd rate jumped from the normal $179 a nite for a standard room (and then the bump up to conceirge from there) to $238!
I thought attendence was supposed to be down at the parks due to everything going on in the world!

Does anyone think any codes might come out for this time frame that might beat Fl resd rates... We're still going of course, just would like the extra money back in my wallet!!

I've noticed the good rates are very limited this year - the $59 value and $74 moderate rates are excellent, and the $124 WL/AKL rate is not bad. But I was quoted $180 for a standard room at the Contemporary, which surprised me (and someone else who also posted about this). For some reason, the discounts are "targeted" this year to the less expensive hotels.

I too am a Florida Resident. I just started posting here and learning about Disney has become a full time job for me.

I tried to book the Beach or Yacht two bedroom Villas and they were sold out.

So I went off-property to a place that was suggested by cinnamon, anothe poster of the Orlando site.

Since I am so immersed on the information on this board, I booked the V&A restaurant for our anniversary for July 6. I tried to also get a Florida rate for that room for that night and was told that the rates did not go beyond June. This could be the reason why they are quoting you such a high rate.

But then again, maybe they have published new rates. I am learning the informaton for Disney is ever changing.

By the way, I am not a pass holder and do not think I will be gettin one this year but AAA club has a 4 day 4 park hopper for 109 for residents.

Please update us on any Florida Resident information you may have.

Could be just an error in perception that the Epcot resorts look a little overpriced compared to the other Deluxe resorts?

Thanks
Jason
