Anyone not using their Thanksgiving Fort Reservation this year?

Well, it seems that Uncle Sam has different plans for our family than we do. We are moving to the other side of the country in November and that means Thanksgiving on the road. We would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to take a slight rotfl2 detour and spend that weekend at the Fort if possible, but it's all booked up. If anyone out there has a change of plans please let me know. Have you tried booking more days than you want, then canceling the extras?

Keep trying as the time gets closer there will be cancellations.
I got friends a reservation last year Wednesday a week before Thanksgiving and they checked in the Monday before Thanksgiving staying until the Saturday after.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed and checking every chance I get. Right now all of the sites are booked. I'm hoping it works out because if we have to spend a holiday on the road I definitely want it to be at the Fort
