Anyone near Canandaigua, NY?

Yup. Snow. That beautiful white stuff. Sorry, it is all my fault. We bought a new snowblower this week.

How MUCH is what I'm wondering...I mean, I don't want to get STUCK there! Have to come home on Sunday.

The Thruway Authority does a really good job of plowing the road and the airports do a pretty good job in winter weather as well. Everyone is ready, so I wouldn't worry about getting stuck. I am outside of Albany, NY which is about 3 hours east and they are calling for mostly rain. But, my wife is from Western New York and I went to college out on the Southern Tier and they do a really good job of dealing with snow and ice. Even last year when Buffalo had the feet and feet of snow the Thruway was opened in 48 hours. I wouldn't change any of my plans!

The Buffalo forecast is calling for some SLIGHT slushy accumulation. I don't know about Canandaigua. Their weather forecasts don't mention any accumulation, though.
