Someone mentioned in another thread that they made spending money for their Disney trip by filling out surveys. They said to check this forum... ok, anyone had success with this! I'm interested!

Thanks

I don't know any specifics about this elissa, but I don't think that they could pay be ENOUGH to do surveys! I did one last night for 50 Memolink points. It went on and on and on. I was working on it for at least a half an hour! It was CRAZY!

I used to think that I liked doing surveys, but not when they are like that!

The only one I think is worth doing is Pinecone but you have to find there banner to join.

I do surveys for a few companies.

One is Pinecone Reasearch, You would need to find one of their advertising banners and then apply to them. They pay $5 per survey and I get 1 or 2 per month.

I also do HarrisPoll for points that can be exchanged for rewards. I have mostly redeemed for restaurant GCs from them.

PartnershipPlus does a monthly survey on clothing purchases. They allow redemptions every 3 months and are very good about sending rewards. I usually redeem for Regal Cinema passes.

I just joined Shopper's Hotline and the process is somewhat complicated. The rewards look pretty good, however.

I did P&G surveys but have not gotten one in a while. They paid anywhere from a couple dollars to $60 for an online focus group.

I joined Vividence and they usually pay with Amazon.com GCs. The surveys are long and you really have to apply yourself to them but the GCs are at least $10 per survey.

Others have had luck with Greenfield Online (they pay cash) but not me.

Those are a few. I've also done test drives for $$ and GCs. They can be very rewarding.

Let's see if I can get them all from my spreadsheet....

So far this year I have earned:

Greenfield = $80
MySurvey = $40
Viewpoint = $20.53
GoZing = $5.50 Amazon
Vividence = $35 Amazon
HarrisPoll = $10 Olive Garden
ZoomPanel (haven't cashed out yet, but have over 1000 pts)
AT&T = $10 Amazon

That's over $200 for doing surveys.

I think that's all of them. I have gotten points from Memolink and PCHPoints for doing a few surveys (more than the 5pt click through).

In the past month, I have received
$15 from Pinecone,
$3 from Greenfield
$10 amazon GC from Vividence

Within the last month, I've gotten $15 from Synovate (plus some little thank you gifts) & $20 from MySurvey. I've also gotten a 45 minute phone card. Every little bit helps!

Just a little heads up. Not sure how you can find them but it's worth a try. We have a local research group that is always looking for people to do focus groups. I need to call them to give them my new contact information ~ ARGGHG. They usually call about every 6 mos. and I don't think you can do more than two a year but when you do them it's like $25 - $60 for about an hour or two of chatting. One time they sent home a lego can for my son to play with for a week, then I had to go talk about it with other moms. Not only did I get a new lego set I got $30. Not bad :-).

I also do Hi Points, MySurvey, Vividence and Greenfield (although I've never made anything from them ~ SIGH). I do Surveyspot and some others for drawings but only if they're short, I know I'll never win.

Don't forget the "stuff" you get to test. Right now I'm testing paper towels and soup...and I received a confirmation that I've been selected to test shampoo. I've tested toothpaste, body cleanser, and Oven Favorites Taco Bake.

On the PartnershipPlus...I save my points for the year and cash out ($60) right before vacation. YIPPEE!!

I've been doing Shoppers Hotline (and their RX site) and I've gotten all kinds of great gift cards and AMEX gift checks. It can take a while...but it's pretty darn easy. :)

And we love doing the test drives!!!

Contrary to what I said earlier in this thread, you guys are inspiring me to try this survey stuff. I think that perhaps I will sign up for a few places after the first of the year.

I like the idea about the focus groups too. I would not mind doing that. I will have to look into that too.

:)

For those of you who do Partnership Plus, Shoppers Hotline, Zoom Panel, AT&T and Synovate, do you mind posting the link to those sites. I've tried typing them in as .coms and doing searches but can't figure out which is the right one, esp. with Partnership Plus which came up with about 1000 hits.

Thanks :-).

BTW, just went through Mals old survey thread and signed up for some more that she had listed, figured it couldn't hurt. If any of them work out, I'll be sure and post.
