Anyone live/work near Shoreditch?

We've got virtually free Virgin train tickets for a shortbreak in London early April, and want to use some airmiles to cover the hotel cost. This one comes up, and is a great 'price' and in a good location for us, on the Central line:

DAYS SHOREDITCH, 419-437 HACKNEY ROAD , LONDON E2 8PP

..trouble is, it's brand new and not due to open until 1st April. The staff there reckon they are '99% sure' they'll be ready, but we're worried that if we book and they aren't finished, we'll be up the proverbial creek without a paddle! Anyone been near recently (or be willing to drift past and have a look) to comment whether it looks like they'll be ready or not? A long-shot, I know, but thought it was worth asking....
