Anyone like to take WDW flower pictures? Request

After seeing all the flower pictures. Please, please. Would someone who's going to WDW soon do me a big favor? I'd love to see a picture of the blue plumbago. It's like a blue bush, and it's growing practically wild all over WDW. You do NOT have to make a special trip anywhere to see it. I remember the first time I saw it at WDW is as we were walking from BCV to the IG all along the right-it's about fence high. We bought some recently here at home, and on my last trip to WDW I was so excited to see it. Now I go out in the back yard and admire my WDW plant. DH thinks I'm making this up since it was a solo trip, so he just shakes his head and says, "I think you see WDW in everything!" I'd be so grateful to be able to prove it's there.

I did exactly what you did! In May, 2005 I admired the blooming blue plumbago so much (we usually go in the winter) that I bought two bushes to grow here at home. I admire my plants everytime I walk out into my backyard and think of Walt Disney World. I don't happen to have pictures, but I am certain that it is, indeed, all over south Florida - along the highways, all around the parks, growing wild everywhere! Yea for the blue plumbago fans!

This was right after we got off the tram - before we got to security. I also have a pic of some near the stream that runs through Camp Mickey Minnie - haven't uploaded that one yet.

So that's what they are called. they were all over the place down there and so very pretty. here is my only photo below of them. Meeko was playfully putting them on his nose and Kate thought that was a hoot. She still talks about "Racoonie had flowers on his nose. Silly Racoonie."

I don't think that's it at the BC. The foliage comes right up to the flowers. However, those are blue plumbago in back of Meeko, and on his nose. How cute!

It's tough to fit in getting there every day with DD in school and having to work, but we do pretty good with weekends, evenings in the summer and an occasional evening this time of year! I have two "grown up" days planned in Nov - meeting another DISer from the Photog board for a "photo safari" around EPCOT and my DSis and friend who will be visiting from PA for the Yuletide Fantasy Tour. I am looking forward to those days! I love DD and the time we spend together at Disney, but there's nothing like a day with no kids!
