Anyone like BOG lunch but not dinner?

Hey everyone!

We have tried BOG dinner multiple times and have not been all that impressed for the price of the food. I've heard good things about the lunch, but I'm hesitant to try because of our disappointment with dinner.

Can anyone that's done lunch and dinner at BOG give a comparison between the two? We currently have reservations for lunch at the Plaza, lunch at Crystal Palace, and lunch at BOG, but only have room in our plans for 2. Which reservation would you drop???

We've done lunch at the Plaza many times (always a safe choice) and have had breakfast at CP, but not lunch or dinner.

TIA!!

I thought this way before this last trip but we did it each trip for dinner and lunch so my 5 year old DD could meet The Beast each summer. Then we went on our trip a few weeks ago and ordered the sustainable fish for dinner which was salmon with a vegetable medley that was in sort of a vinegar dressing and it was unbelievable. I told the waiter that this needs to be permanently added to the menu. It was just as good as most things we get at signatures for half the price. In my opinion lunch there is always pretty good with some interesting options you cant get anywhere else. We always eat at places for lunch that do not have burgers and chicken nuggets on the menu.

The lunch at BOG is a must do for us every trip, def one of my favorite meals. Ive had breakfast and dinner there but lunch was there clear winner for us.

Haven't had dinner but I really like lunch there. The tuna salad is easily as good as anything I've had at a signature. Nothing on the dinner menu appeals and it's too expensive for that to be the case.

Quick service is the main difference, I think. You do your own drinks but they bring your food to you.

My friend and I were just talking about the lunch tuna nicoise salad tonight. It was the highlight of her trip 2 years ago - she says she's not had any as good since! I thoroughly enjoyed it last September.

Too funny, hubby and I like BOG well enough for lunch... we like that it's a nicer QS and don't mind spending a little more to enjoy the better food and atmosphere. BUT, we were so disappointed in dinner. Didn't feel worth it at all.

Try lunch. It's enjoyable.

I find the dinner to be average--I don't love it and I don't hate it. The food at dinner is good, but not great. Either way, it is a convenient location so you don't have to leave the park, and definitely an upgrade in food from Tony's. I think the dinner is definitely worth trying once for the atmosphere and meeting the Beast. However, I do agree with others that the lunch is way better and much more bang for your buck.

We enjoy both, but the dinners we have had here have been phenomenal. Excellent service and really good food. Lunch doesn't compare IMO, but it's still one of the better quick service options.

I loved my BOG dinner (steak frites!). The few times that I have had lunch there, it has been meh. Not a bad lunch, but do not expect more than decent fast food (about equivalent to Panera).
