Anyone know why this weekend is booked up?

Just curious - we arrive this Thurs until Monday. All 3 on site hotels are booked (for most of those nights, some have availability on Sunday).

I didn't hear of any special event at the park...the convention guide doesn't show anything major, etc.

We have reservations at Embassy Suites, but I'm just the curious type. I thought it would be really slow but the fact that the on site resorts are booked has me worried.

Just wondering...

Good question. I'm spending all sunday there, or most of the day. I was hoping it wouldn't be bad. I have no idea, but I'd also like to know why

??? nothing I know of going one special- it could be all sorts of things? Musical Gatherings? Cheer competitions?

BTW- you'll really love Embassy Suites, we stay there every time!

Looks like there are about 5 conventions going on.

Any more it seems like there are always conventions going on and it's hard to find a slow time. We were there two weekends ago (prior to the marathon) and the weekend was packed. Weekdays were OK, but then weeknights there were tons of conventioneers about.
