Anyone know why MK closing early Saturday, 9/29?

We’re making plans for an upcoming trip. We noticed posted hours for MK on Saturday, 9/29 show it closing at 8pm.

It’s not a MNSSHP night (those are scheduled 9/28 and 9/30). Any ideas??

That's not exactly "early" in the context of other late Sept non-party dates currently on the park calendar. The park calendar currently has 8pm closings for all non-party MK nights from mid-late Sept.

But, those hours will (in all likelihood) change around a month'ish out, so keep checking back. FWIW, park hours that same Saturday last year (just for reference, no guarantees for future results) were 8am-12am.

8 PM during a slow season doesn't seem unusual. But 8 PM on a Saturday during party season, when the park is already closing early several nights a week seems crazy. I wouldn't be shocked to see the crowd level in the MK turn out to be 8 or 9 that day when it's done.

Thank you. That makes sense. I wasn't thinking in "September" terms... still thinking summer.
