Anyone know when Elfa Closets go on sale at the Container Store?

We really really like the Elfa Closet system at the Container Store. But that stuff is expensive! We're also checking some other systems, but are thinking that if the Elfa traditionally goes on sale soon, that might sway our decision.

I believe they have an Elfa sale in the spring with 30% off. The other way to buy at a discount (I did this myself last year), is to purchase the gift cards when they have a special purchase. I think it was buy $100, get $20 or $25 free and it was before Christmas. I bought enough to pay for my shelving system and then turned around and paid for the shelves with them.
If you are looking for the closet system, I have used the Closet Maid system which works and installs similarly for a fraction of the cost. The Elfa system is certainly stronger, but for most home usage, the Closet Maid system is just fine.

I have tons of Elfa shelving all over my house. I've got the white wire shelves in closets, I've built a few free-standing drawer chests, and I put the solid wood shelves across an entire wall of my office for computer desks. Elfa is fantastic! Usually January has the best sale of the year - 30% off. However, with the bad economy, Container Store has been running sales more frequently through the year.
