Anyone know what's going on with Rise?

We are headed to the parks this coming weekend and this will be our first time seeing Galaxy's Edge.

I've been watching wait times this week and Rise was temporarily down multiple times when I checked yesterday and it has been temporarily down every time I have checked today.

Anyone know what's going on with it? I REALLY hope its up and running by this weekend.

This is pretty common for Rise. It goes down a lot, sometimes several times per day and for variable lengths of time. It often doesn't open with the park though they appeared to have been trying harder once they eliminated the virtual queue. It also closes for the day hours before the park does when the park is open late.

I've been doing the same and noticed as well! I was hoping it was more along the lines of once the que was so long they stopped updating it. Ha.

Sadly this has how it's always been, people just didn't notice it as much as it only affected Boarding Group guests. Rise was not designed by WDI to handle crowds or being open for more than 12 hours at time (currently open 8am to 8pm, and most of the time never opens at 8am.)

*Edit- yes, it is an amazing experience, just not sure how great of idea to have it be a major E ticket when it can't handle crowds.

Common for the ride to go down. Sometimes you won't get full experience as something is wrong with certain areas. Good luck.

Agreed, this ride is not currently able to operate for enough hours each day or with consistent uptime. In a park like DHS, it probably doesn't need to run for more than 12 hours every day. At DL, the park is open more than 12 hours quite often.

Not sure why a new e-ticket would be designed with such severe capacity constraints, but here we are. The downtime is also an issue, but it's at least more understandable and can potentially improve over time. Indy still has downtime almost every day, even after 25 years!
