Anyone know what they are going to do with Tutto

I understand Tutto is going down for a rehab. It is desperately needed, I really looked around this summer and it is so dated!

Wonder what they are going to do?

Tutto Italia will now be closed through April. Before it was to reopen April 1, now they've extended the closure.

There are a couple of rumors; one is that it will be a completely different restaurant when it reopens. The other is that it will be a signature restaurant. There's really been no official confirmation of any of this.

We made an ADR for November 8. So is it open now?

Yes, it closes in January. I have a food and wine event there November 12, it better be open.

I'm planning on an ADR there for August.. I hope we know what's going on before my 180 days out!

i just made a last minute change... we're going on 11/11. we ate there in may, loved it.... and i'm nervous it could be in for a big change... so i added it in!!

Phew! Have an ADR for Dec 5th, and I'd be sad to miss it! It's a must -do for us.

i just finished my dining review for Tutto. IMHO it is one of the best restaurants on property in terms of service. Two years in a row it was actually better than the WDW signatures' service. The prices on certainly on par with sig restaurants, so I could believe it would switch over they way Le Cellier did recently.

It's not operated by Disney. At this point the only "signature" restaurants that are not operated by Disney are at DTD and the Swan/Dolphin and don't take the dining plan. The only one in the parks is Bistro de Paris and they don't take the dining plan either.

If it did go "signature" and accepted the dining plan it would be the only 2-credit DDP restaurant that is not operated by Disney.
