We're not going for 16 days but I wondered if anyone was there and could tell me how the crowds are? :flower:

Just got home Tuesday and the crowds were heavy after about 11AM at MK. USE FASTPASS WHEN AT ALL POSSIBLE!

Thanks for the info. Hopefully, it will be better in two weeks, but if not, no worries. I'll be in Disney World!!!! Do people stare at 34yo women skipping on Main Street? :rotfl:

I was there last Saturday night and much of Sunday. From 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday we went on 10 rides. From 10 until 12 on Sunday we did very well also. However the afternoon at MK was packed. It started to thin out a bit on our way out at 5:30. We had to leave then because we had a 2 hour drive and there was school the next day. The night was probably OK since other local Floridian's were probably also leaving due to school the next day.

Mermaidwannabe, I think they stare if you're not skipping down Main Street. :rotfl2: Just 10 more days til our trip. I hope the crowds calm down but it sounds like the Northeastern school vacations are scheduled during that time. Oh well...

Depends on what they look like, I'd say. :)
Also, I wouldn't judge the crowds based on the last two weeks as that was Spring Break and I understand that DW is always pretty busy. At least, I hope so as we're heading that way 5/7.

In the book "The Unofficial Guide to Disney World", the authors rate the crowds each day on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being very light crowds and 10 being jam packed. For the week of April 24th, which sounds like when you're going, the 24th is rated a 5- busy, with crowds affecting major headling attractions- and the rest of the week is rated a 3- light crowded conditions. I always plan my dates around the recommendations in this book, at they are pretty much always right on with the crowds. When we went in December, the crowds we rated a 3 and it was wonderful! The longest we waited for anything was 5 minutes, and we did the Tower of Terror two times in a row just walking right on. We're going back in May, and once again I've planned my dates around crowd levels of 3. Hopefully, they'll be right once again!

Just read on another site from two different people that lines were all under 1 hour for the 4th and 5th of April(in afternoon). Combine with FP and we will all be fine.
