in christmas of 2007 we are going to wdw for miley's first trip for 10 days and am staying at cr so close to mk with tower guest room and mk veiw. i was just wondering any suggestions of rides for an 18 month old. (she will be 18 months at the time but now she is 4 months)

awww how sweet!!! For an 18th month i think i would go with Peter pans Flight, Poohs Adventure, small world, jungle crusie, the carpet ride, dumbo.... there are soo many!! don't forget to go to Toon Town!!!
Have fun!!!!!

Don't go into the great movie ride, it scared my DD who was 18 months old at the time really bad. Also, the muppet movie did too, due to the fireworks and explosion at the end!!

However, she did love fantasyland at the MK, and almost everything we did she enjoyed.

If you like to ride btmrr and slash mt, you can do a child swap at both and there is a little slide and playhouse right between the 2 rides that you can occupy your wait time with her playing on.

TTA is also good in tommorrow land. It was my other DD who was 2 at the time favorite ride.

My kids also really loved all the character dinner when they were that age and the parades.

Do the parades for sure...especially Spectromagic. The butterflies and big fish will be a hit. Pooh's hunny pots, Dumbo, IASW, Mickey's Philharmagic, I'm betting the new nemo ride at Epcot will be good for her. My 2 yr old liked Figment as well. She will probably love the play areas too. Donald's Boat and the hundred acre wood area.

Absolutely no question, It's a Small World, followed by a ride on the Carousel :sunny:

Enjoy it! I wish I could go back and do that again when my girls were very small. It was the most fun I have ever had.

My daughter was 15 months when we went to WDW last year and I think the attraction that she enjoyed most in the parks was 'The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh' in MK. Snow While is scary for many toddlers (the wicked step-mom/witch) and, honestly, Dumbo freaked her out, but she just stared in glee at Pooh and his pals all through the Pooh ride and loved every second of it. She also enjoyed Mickey's Philharmagic (wouldn't wear the 3D glasses of course!) except for, perhaps, the exhuberant reaction of the audience. I guess though, her favourite of all was the Mickey car in the arcade at Wilderness Lodge - 50 cent it cost as opposed to the thousands we spend at the parks!!!!! ;)
