Anyone know the blackout dates for Fantasy AP

Cant seem to find out what the blackout dates are?
Thinking of going for New Years eve / day
( was going to do a coach trip, but it doesnt leave much time for Disney itself !! )

So thinking of making our own plans. But I cant find the blackout dates for the fantasy AP !

Should be OK for New Years Eve / Day - there are blackout days over the Christmas period from Dec 26 to 30 inclusive for fantasy pass.

Also can you still get a free childs ap with an adult? I was wondering if we get 2 adults we would get 2 childs free?

You can still get the free ap's for under sevens at the moment. Current offer is due to expire on 7th November - have to wait and see if is extended as it has been before.

So can I order them in the next month or 2 from the uk with a sponsor and a free kids ap, then not use them until Dec?

You cannot use the sponsorship offer in combination with the free child passes. Not sure about ordering in advance from the UK as have never done it but I don't think you can get any of the special offers unless you buy the APs at the park.

I dont think you can get the child free offer unless bought at the gate. Also if you order a pass before you go it has to be activated within a month by visiting the park

So if I understand correctly, the actual holidays are not blocked out on the Fantasy pass? That surprises me! We were thinking about going Dec 24/25 or Dec 31/Jan 1. I guess we won't all need dream passes. I don't really care about going on Halloween. Are there any other dates that I should be worried about missing out on or is the dream pass only really good for the discounts and I shouldn't really worry about blackout dates?

There was a list of blackout days posted recently in a thread.

The main reason we went for dream pass last yr was to get EMH as we were staying off site.
However we were glad we hadnt got fantasy as we went between Christmas and New Year and they were blackout days.

Its not too bad though - when we renew our passes later this month we are considering just getting francilien for DD and myself as we can work round the blackout days. DH would still get a dream for discounts/parking etc

Everyone needs a dream pass to use EMH if you're staying off site.
