Anyone know the best MArriott hotel near WDW?

We have a free night at a Marriott so I'd like to come a day earlier and use the free room. The Marriott website is not working, anyone know a nice Marriot hotel? Close to WDW please!

Are you a family of five? (I'm counting the mouseheads in your sig). If so, I'd try to book at Springhill Suites, Marriott Village. Biggest rooms, fold out couch, free breakfast, close to WDW.

But really, all the Marriott's in the area are good choices.

Residence Inn on Palm: but you will probably only get a studio with points
Fairfield and Courtyard in Marriott Village:
Courtyard on Palm (someone said this was newly renovated, the rooms are fairly large, no free breakfast though)

Also, the Marriott Resort is top notch, but they are cat. 6.

We stayed at the Residence Inn (Lake Buena Vista) last time and really liked it. We used points to get a one bedroom suite. Large rooms, free breakfast, close to parks. We're staying there again on our next trip.

Orlando World Center is the best and the closest, but as the others have stated it is Cat 6 which is like 25,000 points.

The OP mentioned the Springhill, Fairfield, and Courtyard at Marriott Village, these are also quite close and convenient to eating and the outlets.

Thanks! I booked the Courtyard in Marriott Village. I have a cert for one night cat 1-4, I called Marriott and was able to get this one. But on their rewards website it says it's a cat 5. I'll have to call the rewards dept tomorrow to make sure we can use the cert. there.

Both the Courtyard and Springhill in the Mariott Village are cat. 5. However, the Fairfield Inn there is a cat. 4, as well as the Courtyard on Palm. If it's a problem when you call, try to book one of those instead. (note: FF has free breakfast, the Courtyard/Palm has larger, newly renovated rooms---plus ours had both a fridge and micro last time). Both locations are very close to WDW. Good luck!

Marriott Village at LBV is a 5 minute drive from Downtown Disney and is a clean collection of hotels in a very nice area and close to the Premium Outlets, Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede and has a Golden Corral and Bahama Breeze in walking distance. It's well worth a look IMO.
