Because I got some free PotC music, but it is a Windows Media file and I want to be able to play it on my iPod.

Alright, thanks! Now I just have to figure out how on earth to convert it to an mp3... xD

google is your friend ;) there are a million apps that will do that.

google me this:

convert wma to mp3

Okay, I just tried Switch, and it said the file was unable to be opened. Then I tried the simple drag & drop into the iTunes folder thing and it said it was a windows protected file or something.

ah... its a DRM protected WMA file. Thats a copy protection they use so you cant copy the song.

What if you burn the song to a cd, then convert the song from the cd to an mp3 using itunes?

I've done that. It is a lot of work, but it is possible.

...But if it's DRM protected will you be able to burn it? :confused3
