OK don't laugh--I am very frustrated!!! I had all my shirts done and I washed them. Well one of the corners was peeling up so I went to iron it back down--using the correct paper in between my iron and the design--but I did not protect the rest of the design and accidentally ran the iron over the transfer already on the tshirt--now I can't get the iron clean!! Please help!! We leave Thursday and now I will be frantically buying another tshirt and more transfer paper to make a new shirt--BUT first I have to clean the iron!!! Thanks!!

Try this

heat a solution of white vinegar and salt until the salt dissolves. Using a clean cloth dipped in the heated solution, wipe the iron's soleplate clean. Remember to wipe the iron completely clean with a cloth dampened in clean water.

I got some transfer on my iron once and used a little brillo to get it off. I just wet the pad a little and it rubbed right off. I then wet a paper towel a little and wiped off the soap from the brillo pad. It worked great.

OK I tried the vinegar and salt--I had to put in more salt than I thought so it took two tries BUT I have a clean iron. Now I just need a shirt and the transfer paper!! Thanks girls!!!
