Okay, I was using a non-Disney site and a friend posted a signature for me, adding the Mickey clipart with the paint palette. The owner of the board asked me not use it as it would encourage others to use copyrighted clipart.
Does anyone know what Disney's stance is on using their clipart on fan sites such as this, in personal email stationary and on things like t-shirts (all for personal use, not to sell or use to sell.)
While I understand how important copyright is, (I have my own design business) , I am curious as to what Disney thinks. Obviously they must see all the use of the clipart.
