Anyone know anything about cameras ?

Hi guys I know it's a long shot that people would own these specific cameras but my brother is thinking of getting a new one for our trip and has asked me to ask this on here.

"Can anyone who owns a Sony A6000 mirrorless camera please tell me if they have had problems with overheating whilst recording video?
I want a reliable camera so I want to know if I should buy this camera for my Disney trip or the Panasonic GX7 for video as well as quality pictures."

Any help or info would be appreciated and will be passed on to my little bro.

I love Sony cameras and have an A77 which is a rather hefty but fantastic dslr (technically dslt but that's too geeky for here) but I came on to recommend one of the rx100 range, I treated myself to the rx100 1st generation as a pocketable high quality point and shoot. The pictures and video are amazing, almost to the point that it's more likely to be with me than the big camera on holiday. Now the mk3 is coming out the first two generations should be getting pretty cheap!

Read some review and see what you think. I personally fancy the a7s if money wasn't an issue but it is so I won't!
