We're going on our first DVC trip in 29 days and am really looking forward to SAB, really don't care how cold it is :D , I have to get in this beautiful pool (thanks to Tagrel's pics).

But looking for people that just came back, did you venture in?

My Family was there in early November for a week and absolutely loved SAB especially my 3year old DD and my nieces. It really is a miniature water park, the lazy river, the sandy bottom pool, the slide and the children's play area.....need I say more.....

It was our first DVC trip and first time home. I have stayed at alot of the other resorts but I absolutely loved BCV due to SAB and it's location to epcot and MGM. We have a dedicated 2BR room number 452 and great views of the epcot ball and illuminations every night. Although we were only suppose to get T&T service, we ended up with complete daily housekeeping the entire stay:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :teeth:

We have booked our second trip home in September 04 and cannot wait.

ENJOY SAB and share your thoughts when you return. Green with jealousy until then......

Wow, thank you for that positive feedback. Now I really can't wait. I'm on the waitlist for our whole vacation to be at BCV's, but for now we'll be there for the first four nights.

I'm so glad to hear how much you loved everything.

Crossing my fingers and holding my breath for Rm. 452, 452, 452.....

I've been back for a week but it was great when we were there. THe water is heated, like all WDW pools, but if it is cool out, it is awfully cold running back and forth to the big slide ;) The kids don't seem to mind that.

One day while we were there the high didn't hit 68, I don't think, but there were a few people in the pool - they had it all to themselves. Must have been from Minnesota  (The lifeguards were wearing long pants, jackets and hats).

Have fun!

Glad to hear that they were keeping those poolhoppers out since it was obviously way too crowded to handle them as it is all the time year round since BCV opened;)

Thinking the same thing PK.

Wonder if the animals at AKL have adjusted to their new surroundings yet :-)

We were just there before and after Thanksgiving. It was really warm the first weekend. The Saturday after, it was a high in the 50's and yes the kids got in, I did not. The next day it was a high near 70 and we all got in. My kids could never go without going in.

We stayed at BCV last New Year's Eve and we swam at SAB almost every day. The worst part was trekking to the pool and back in our suits.

I just returned from an 8 nighter at BCV, and we took full advantage of SAB. Despite the fact that some people complain about the "long" walk from the villas to SAB, it really wasn't that bad. The temps were in the 70's all but one day, and so we were in quite a bit.

It didn't seem to be too crowded until we got later in the week and into the weekend, then it picked up a bit. Talked to one CM there and I don't know how accurate this is, but he told us that before they started the wrist band program at SAB, they took a count of people who were at SAB and not staying at YC/BC/BCV. They estimated around 2,000 for the week.

They were checking wrist bands, but there are several areas around SAB where you could easily walk in without encountering a CM. Saw several folks without wrist bands on. I would speculate that if the pool started filling up, those people would have been asked to leave.

We were there Nov 29 - Dec 5. It was a cold week, but we finally found time to go to SAB on the afternoon of the 4th when it wasn't too cold. The pool was wonderfully uncrowded, but still enough people there to make it fun -- a perfect situation. The whirlpool was working but not the bubbles or sinking sands.

On more than one occasion I walked by when temperature was in the 40s to see one or more lifeguards on duty but absolutely nobody in the pool. It's good to know they take lifeguarding that seriously.

Sounds great everyone, just what I was looking for. Thank you!
