info on what's going on at the resort.

1. Any renovations taking place?
2. Food court fully open?
3. Hear anything form CM's about future closing for renovations?
4. How was the condition of your room/rooms?

Any input would be appreciated not just for me but others I'm sure.

Thanks

We have not been there ourselves recently but have heard that the food court is now fully oporational if that helps any. We are also eagerly awaiting any new reports. Thanks for starting this.:D

We were at POR from 7/3-7/10. The food court is open, with long waits but good food. The boat to DTD is running. All bus stops are open. It seemed to me that the resort was fully operational with the exception of the garbage cans ;) . Nobody seemed to understand the concept of putting their garbage INTO those odd green containers named PUSH. Weird. :(

Otherwise, BOB was GREAT! Short lines at checkin. Maid service was slow (most days after 4pm, unless we called and complained). Ol' Man Island was busy but nice. Don't waste your time or money fishing as the fish are nesting right under the dock and are too smart to bite.

You have to try the chocolate cake at the food court! Yummy! Plenty for two or three people! :p

The quiet pools were very warm, but nice and quiet. Not too many people and no noise at night.

We were at POR from June 28 - July 13 and everything was up and fully operational by the 2nd week. Food court all open and all bus stops operational. Seemed like bus service was the same as the last 5 years.

Our room was in good condition. There was one paint peeled spot in the bath tub, so renovations should do it some good for the future.

Our room was cleaned everyday early, we would go back to the room at 1:00 and it was ready. I noticed Zakatak had a different experience with maid service, so I guess it depends on where you are staying. We were AB building 26 (room 2640). They were going to put us in Paterre Place, but we asked not to be and were given choices of buildings so we picked AB 26.

We noticed the trashy bus stop (the main one) so after 3 days of it being like that we complained to guest relations and it was cleaned up by the next day.

Didn't hear anything about future rennovations, but we didn't ask.

Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions.
