Flik arrived today.
He was most excited to hear that we have a trip to DLRP planned and sat straight down to look through the Brits Guide.

Then he sorted out his important papers (AP and passport) and now says he's ready to go.

Good news! I just booked a trip for April 19th to the 21st. I really wanted to have Fern but knew it would be a long shot that someone would want to trade so I will have to show Flik around the park instead.

We all set off really early (2am!!) to drive down the the tunnel. The drive went by quickly even though it was snowing. Fern enjoyed her 1st drive down and loved going on the shuttle.

35 minutes later we were driving off the shuttle and Fern was back in France.

Fern enjoyed the drive, she had never seen so much snow before.

3 hours later Fern was back at Disneyland Paris. We were able to check into the room straight away. Fern was back!!
She decided to have a quick relax and then enjoyed the view from the room.

After she waited very patiently for Karen and Pete to unpack they all headed straight off to the Disneyland Park.

1st ride was BTMRR which Fern loved!

Then Fern wanted to explore the castle.

As we had all had a long day Fern thought it would be a good idea if she had an early night whilst Pete and Karen went back to the park for their evening meal at Walts.

Awwwwwwwww lovely photos, it's strange to think that we were there with Fern just a few weeks ago, then seeing her back where she belongs!

Flik is holidaying with Pyebibby as we speak (errr....type) but he seemed to enjoy his time with us.
He thought Terminal 5 was a great place

But he wasn't impressed with CDG or the VEA journey

He loved the view from our hotel and would spend ages just gazing out

He tried TOT but found it a bit scary and had no desire to loiter in the corridor afterwards

Other things he enjoyed were a nice drink next to the fire at the Redwood Bar

and the view of the Castle

His favourite place to eat was Annette's, but I think that was mainly for the car that he could play in.

We were sad to hand Flik over, but I'm sure he's having fun right now, while I'm back here with a pile of laundry to do.

Love the photo of Flik in the car, I so wanted one of those cars, but DD wouldn't even let me ask... I did manage to scrounge some of their plastic cups with "Annettes" on though

Today was spent mainly in the Disneyland Park. Fern wanted to get to the park quickly so we headed off for Early Entry and was the 1st in the park! Fern wanted to ride Space Mountain, so we did.

Then she wanted to go on Buzz as she had enjoyed it so much last trip.

Soon the rest of the park was open so it was over to BTMRR again.

Followed by a go on Star Tours

Soon Fern was tired and wanted an ice cream break, so we all decided to share one.

Then we headed off to explore Adventure Isle

And the Swiss Family Robinson tree house.

Soon it was time to go back to the hotel and get ready for dinner.

Today we hit the studios. But on the way to the park Fern wanted to stop by her cousin in Disney village to say hi.

1st we went on Crush, but Fern wanted to stay hidden from the rest of the sea creatures!

After that Fern wanted to ride the Tower of Terror

After some time in the Studios Fern wanted a break.

We had wanted to go up in the balloon but every time we passed it it was closed due to high winds.

Fern then decided she wanted to go ice skating, but we couldn't find skates to fit her.

By now it was getting late and Fern had to get ready for her meal at the California Grill.

 

[Danauk]

This morning Fern had breakfast at Cafe Mickey.

Here she met Mickey and Minnie (Fern says at this point to please excuse the state of Danauk, she still had wet hair from rushing to pack the case and get ready for the 8am breakfast!!)

After breakfast we headed into the park and Fern wanted to ride Indiana Jones.

Then she wanted to explore Alice's maze. Here she made some new friends:

Although she did get scared by this guy:

After that she wanted a nice ride on the canal boats:

Although at one point she was worried that we were about to get eaten.

Speaking of eating it was now time for lunch at the Blue Lagoon

and then sadly it was time to head home.

Fern loved her stay at the Hotel New York

and she can't wait to get back to Disneyland Paris soon.
