Anyone in WDW last week? How were the crowds?

Just curious. Last week was our Spring Break (always the same time). I wanted to know how long the lines were.

Thanks!

We were at Epcot in Tuesday and Magic Kingdom on Friday.

TT on Tuesday evening was 75 minutes and Splash Mountain on Friday was about 60 minutes.

Both days we were there late though (after 5:00). Friday night after 9:00 Rees we're walk on.

I found it to be just fine. Headliner wait times got long during the day (60-10 mins) but we never waited more than 20 minutes for anything by going at rope drop, using FP in afternoon and/or breaking at the hotel. Then jumping in short or walk-on lines for headliners during/after evening entertainment.

The only time I really felt "crowded" was the 30 minutes before MSEP when people start trying to squeeze into the space and walking in FL btw PP and Small World during midday.

Food and transportation lines were very manageable for us too. It was a great trip!

Was there from Sunday through Friday of last week. The crowds were fine. There were some points during the day when the major ride wait times spiked, but it was mostly less than when we were there in 2012.

The issue is that the crowds are more spread out now. You don't see the standby lines at Space Mountain snaking close to the Peoplemover anymore, but you may see some wait times on Small World. That's due to the FP+ system. Personally I liked it, but some don't.

Thanks everyone! That doesn't sound much different than our October trips!

Great to know!

EP on monday....crowds were fine....headliners about a 60min wait all day.

MK on tuesday...Crowds were crazy!!! It took us 1 1/2 hours to get from parking to Main street. We missed our morning FP for TM. Longest lines were for the Princesses. The line for Little Mermaid was 90 mins....I thought it was the ride...but it was for Ariel! (So glad I have boys...LOL!) We left in the early afternoon and came back in the evening. I rescheduled my FP for TM....wait times for HM was down to 10 mins...it was 60+ early in the day. TM was 30 mins. Pirates was walk on....Aladdins carpets was walk on.....only wait I saw was peter pan and that was 60mins still. Obviously the crowds for Wishes was nuts...and it took us over an hour to get out of the park.

Unless you need to be in MK for rope drop...I would skip it....FP what you need and then just enjoy the park....I kind of ruined our day with the stress of getting in.

AK on Thursday...no FP for the safari in the morning...so we just hoped for the best....it was a 10 min wait when we go there. I think it said 30 mins when we got done. But crowds were not too bad there either.

HS at rope drop...crazy getting in....went straight to TSM and had a 60 min wait time posted....it took about 45.

We went 3/28 - 4/2.

3/28 Hollywood Studios - I found it crowded and hard to walk. However, I had never been to HS before and it's a smaller park, so it might always be like this. Did all FP+ in afternoon.

3/29 Epcot - not crowded due to crazy afternoon storms

3/30 AK - I felt it was really crowded here, but again smaller park. We got to this park around 9/9:30 and had to wait a bit for a tram to entrance. In AM PW wait was 25 min and Dinosaur was 20 min. That's all we did standby.

3/31 MK - Great/easy day. Lines got long in the afternoon, but that's when I used FP. Our longest wait was for Splash w/no FP+. It was 45 min. Was there RD to post Wishes.

4/2 MK - Another great day. Got there for opening show and was through gates by 9. Rode BTMRR twice as walk on then Splash as walk on. Lines got nutty again in afternoon, but had FP+ again then.

We were in MK on Saturday morning, Epcot Saturday afternoon/early evening and MK last night after 6pm.

I thought it was perfectly comfortable and nice. I acutally didn't have to use a couple fast passes because the waits were so low.

Also, at 2pm on Saturday we were quoted a 1-1/2 wait for Anna and Elsa if that tells you how low the crowds were. ;)

On 3/31, what time of day did you ride Splash sb?

I'm hoping that when we ride at 9am it doesn't have a sb line that's 45 min. lol

We were there Sunday 3/30- Saturday 4/5. I was nervous since it was spring break season. We are spoiled by going in September. But it was much better than I expected.

I watched the boards and wait times the week prior, and it looked MUCH busier. Much of central Florida had break that week. Breaks differ from year to year, just as Easter does. I hear that spring crowds are very difficult to predict because of this.

We were there 4/2- 4/6. MK on Thursday, EP on Friday and HS and AK on Saturday. Crowds weren't too bad, even though I chose the least recommended parks to take advantage of EMH. Longest wait for anything was for Soarin' at 90 min. (I chose to use my FP+ on Test Track) and did Anna and Elsa early so didn't get there till almost 10 am.

We were there 3/30 - 4/4 and we really had a great time with on average 20 minute waits on rides without fp. Even the Little Mermaid was 20 minutes both times we rode it! The longest standby we waited was 30 minutes for It's a Small world and Test Track (first ride at rope drop at Epcot). Character spot in the evening at Epcot was a 10 minute wait and meeting Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Daisy was 10 minutes at Magic Kingdom.

There were a lot of people there, but we never had any issues. Have fun and if you can, take advantage of rides during the FOF parade. Hardly any wait times to get on rides during it.

This would be a good plan! We went to MK on the recommended day...and it was very busy! I think everyone saw it was recommended and pounced! LOL!

We were in the parks 4/3 and 4/4.

4/3 we did early entry for MK, rode Space, Buzz, Peter Pan. Went over toward BTMRR to ride when it opened at 9am. Rode it a few times and then Splash once with hardly any waits (maybe 15-20). Then went to Fantasyland to walk around and take pics of the new area and eat lunch in the castle at 11 am. Felt like we got a lot done that morning. Hopped to AK and rode Mt. Everest Single several times with a fairly long single line, probably 10-20 most rides (rode 5 times). Dinosaur was about 30 minutes.

Back to MK for FP+ on Space around 4:30, Belle's Tales, and BTMRR -- all our FP+ wait times were short. We rode BTMRR again standby (20ish minutes) rode Pirates and HM, very short waits. Had no trouble finding a spot on main street for the electric parade.

Friday at Epcot was another story. 9:15 we arrive to find the soaring line time jump from 30 to 90 minutes while we are standing in it. Thankfully it really only took 45. We walk over to Test Track, 110 minues with singles being 30. Yes, it took 30 to ride via single. Took a good 20+ to ride again that night around 8:30 pm via singles. We hop over to Studios to use our FP+ for Star Tours (not needed, practically walk on, we ride 3 times), Toy story, and Tower of Terror (we ride again via standby 20 mins). Rock N Roller coaster had long lines, 60 mins, and the singles took a good 30 so we only rode once.

I found spring break to be busier than fall. I'm not sure if FP+ had anything to do with it as I've not been during spring before. I also found that there are a lot of middle and high school groups so the thrill rides tended to get these huge groups of kids in line.

It was around 12:30 pm.

Note: 4/2 We entered MK at 9:00. Rode BTMRR twice walk on followed by Splash walk on. You'll be good!

We were there 3/26-4/5. Crowds were manageable but still pretty crowded! Waits for soarin and test track over 150 minutes in the afternoon. We used mid afternoon FP and rode big headliners with little to no wait in th evening hours
