Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

Doorbell just rang & MBs are here. Delivered by UPS Ground---dedicated truck, not my mail carrier. Arrived 11/5 for a 12/2 check-in. Late last night MDE still read "being customized, will ship soon", but when I looked after getting package MDE noted they should arrive today.

Well, if the 12/2 people are getting their bands today then I (12/4) should get mine by Thursday. No indication that the bands are on their way, which seems par for the course. Every week this trip gets more and more real!

We also arrive 12/2 (BWI) and I received the magic bands this morning!! Feels real now

Got mine this morning. Final day to personalize it was Nov 2, got an email this morning saying they were shipped, and they were at my door by noon! Check in for me is Dec 3, SSR. My FP+ have been made. Did that about a week, 10 days ago.

We are there 12/3. only 1 out of the 3 room magic bands have shipped. Not sure what the hold up is on the other 2 rooms.

Same We are there 12/2 and ours still says "Your MagicBands are being customized and will ship soon." Yet, my inlaws who arrive the same day had theirs delivered this morning. Come on Disney!! Lol.

I was officially invited about two weeks after I completed all my FP+ and MB changes. Arriving 19 Dec - 26 Dec. I went on right at the 60 day point. No fireworks or parade options but got all the headliners. Kinda glad I did it then as Epcot has changed since to only allow one headliner. Nice to know the system couldn't talk internally to figure out I had already done the things it asks me to do as an invitee. If I would have waited, probably would not have had the options I did for FP+. Still hoping to get a hard key and "double-dip" (please don't hate me...)

I don't hate you, I did the same thing! Going in early December, but all my FP+ were booked the middle of last month, and I got my physical Magic Bands yesterday. I didn't get an email with an official Magic Band invite until this last weekend...my husband was all excited to get the email, logged onto our joint MDE account, to see I already had stuff booked!

My husband now accuses me of "overplanning" but I managed to get 3 headliners booked at Epcot before the change...and if the Epcot Soaring Ride is anything like the Disney California Adventure version of Soaring, no way is it IMHO worth standing in line for more than 10 minutes, the whole reason I FP'ed it.

My husband now accuses me of "overplanning" but I managed to get 3 headliners booked at Epcot before the change...and if the Epcot Soaring Ride is anything like the Disney California Adventure version of Soaring, no way is it IMHO worth standing in line for more than 10 minutes, the whole reason I FP'ed it.

The Epcot version is exactly the same ride as the CA version.

We went in September and used MB and FP+ with no problem...plenty of FP, were able to change on the fly, get any ride we want. But I just booked today for a quick December trip 9-11, and of course no Soarin' FP are left for our trip, period.

apparently they are trying to remedy that going forward by limiting people to soaring OR test track but not both. there's thread over here about it:

Just checked the Disney app and to my surprise there was a Fastpass + button!! Pap holder, DVC member checking in on 12/21. Even though we are only staying two nights we have FP+ through New Year's Eve. So excited.

Logged onto my Disney App to look at my FP+ selections and some of them are listed as unknown. I see the picture of the selection but next to the pic it says "Unknown"

Really? I just went in and checked, and I can book Soarin' FP+ for any of those days, at a variety of times. You may need to call, it sounds like there's something wrong.

OK, we have the exact same situation then! I have 2 linked reservations, the first one is rented, then I added another day with my own reservation. That must be the reason why we're having problems. I can't check in at all - errors every way I try including mydisneyreservation.com. Will have to talk with DVC, that's also what they told me.
Hopefully after the check in gets resolved that also solves the MB issue.
Will let you know if it gets fixed somehow and keep me updated!

Update:
Called DVC, explained that I cannot do online check in and believed it was due to reservations being linked. After looking through everything, because of what I told her she unlinked the reservations so I could check in - it worked! Then she linked them back. Right after check in I was able to personalize magic bands, yay!!!
Note: If I wasn't DVC member I don't know if they would help me since they ask for member # and all that - but no matter if you are member or not they have the ability to unlink/link reservations.
