Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I am so aggravated with Disney right now. I keep getting transferred to different lines where I keep waiting about 30 minutes on each - all I want to do is link my BWV reservation since it hasn't been linking to MDE. This is keeping 1 person in our party from getting FP+. It's so frustrating!
 

I called Disney IT to follow up on my plastic UT ticket linking problem. (I tried to link them a month ago. They show up under Tickets, but not Reservations, so I can't make FP+ selections.) No luck yet. I need to sit back and wait.

Sounds like there are still LOTS of people with this issue, and they are fixing them slowly one-by-one in order of arrival date. I may have to wait another few weeks, at least.

I expressed my frustration to the lady on the phone, but basically got, "Yep, too bad for you. We're still testing. You can still use regular fastpass instead if you'd like to", as if others' FP+ reservations won't negatively affect me. (Not so sure about that one!) She also suggested talking to the resort front desk when I check in. Ugh. :sad2:

She also said that they haven't even formally opened up December yet, and that people would be getting invitations by mail 28 days out. When I told her that people were already booking for early December, she said that those reservations might not even 'stick". :confused: (I'm pretty sure she was just saying this to pacify me.) They either underestimate, don't care, or didn't plan for how much information is exchanged on these boards.

I see where they're coming from... that this whole thing is just a "test" in their eyes.... but I'm having a tough time accepting that we're just unlucky. I'm not a big fan of FP+, but I don't want to be one of the few on site that doesn't have access to it.
 
I am so frustrated. Made all of our FP+ reservations for our first day, and then the system went crazy. It keeps splitting up me and my DH (our son is under 3 and doesn't have a ticket) and it won't cancel, copy or change any existing FP+ reservations. I don't know this happened, but we now have two full days of random one-person only reservations for attractions at the wrong times, that won't delete or be replaced with anything. I am scared to try to do any other days on our trip because of this, and scared to call IT because of the long waits and seemingly inability to do anything. This has taken up my entire morning.

Does anyone here have any tips? I can outline how it started going crazy if that helps.
1. I selected our three choices for our second day, and then confirmed.
2. I went in afterwards to modify the times.
3. I selected new times and hit submit.
4. On the reservation list page it showed only one reservation for either me or my husband. At no time did I remove either of us or select only one of us to make changes for during the modification process.
5. A million extra attempts to modify, cancel, copy or replace the reservations succeeds in nothing.

The same thing is happening to me. :confused3 I thought maybe I was clicking too much and giving it a headache :worried: so I decided to give it a rest for a bit and try back later. UGH! I hope it works!
 
Just spent a couple of hours on hold and talking to IT. We arrive Dec. 1, check out Dec. 7. Got checked in, did FP+, BUT my ticket does not show it is linked to the reservation. Called again. For some reason, I have 2 accounts and things are getting put in different accounts, so some things are in one, and some in another.So they are now trying to fix that. Will take some time, so they will e-mail me when it is all fixed. We will see how this all goes. Going to DTD on our arrival day to pick up military tickets. Then I the ticket I used for my friend, back to me. I plan on spending at least an hour, getting everything fixed. I am glad we have the time on our arrival day to do this. Would hate to have to do it before a park day.:confused3

That's the exact problem I've been having this morning. My first day is so screwed up I'm afraid to do anything else, we now show individuals at different times so now we won't be able to ride together. I've decided to step back and see if the system fixes itself later. Keeping fingers crossed.
 
DH and I have APs. We booked room only reservation for 12/13-12/15, using AP discount.

In MDE, I was able to link our APs to the room reservation. At the 60 day mark, I was able to do on-line check in.

Today, at the 57 day mark, I was able to do FP+ selections.

After I went back to the on-line reservation site and reviewed it (but made no changes), I was able to customize MBs!

I wanted to add... when I go in to modify the times & experiences, it does show the right rides. So I am hoping that what I had wanted to change is actually in there somewhere.

When I modified, I changed parks... The old park and rides still show up in my plans, but when I go in to modify (or cancel), the new park and experiences are there (at that point it doesn't show the times). So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will untangle at some point.

Yes, same thing is happening to me. On some days only 1 of the 3 rides is showing. On most days they only show one person in the party on the fp+ reservation instead of all of us. I have tried to cancel, modify, etc. Nothing works. I have been on hold with IT for over 30 minutes now. :confused3:sad2:

Three out of our nine days are showing correctly. Funny since I made all of them the same way.
 
I was able to do FP+ last night but no option to customize MB yet. I'm 56 days out. Everything is linked and my tickets were purchased with the package.

I do have a question about MVMCP tickets though..I chose the option earlier in the year to pick them up as "will call". Are they going to be put on MB too? Also, right now they are both assigned to me. Do I need to assign one to my sister?

I have to call anyway to let them know my flight info so I have a sneaking suspicion I'll be keeping them busy with other stuff too.:rotfl:
 
I have been working on this stuff for over three hours! And it is still not right!
I have been holding for over 30 minutes! So frustrating. :sad2::headache:

Did you try copying one of the fp + times to the other person?

Call any of the 407 numbers and when it asks what can I help you with today, say nice and slow "My Disney Experience"

Then at the prompt is 1 for information and 2 for problems with the web site, select 2. That will put you in touch with IT support.
 
I am 48 days out and still can't customize MB. I thought I read somewhere here on the boards that you did not have to do on-line check-in in order to customize bands? I haven't done on-line check in because I called to add my room requests to my reservation. Can somebody please set me straight as to if I have to do on-line check in to customize???? Thanks!!!

I'm not sure if you have to do online check-in, but for us and several other people on here last night doing online check-in or modifying online check-in triggered the availibilty to customize Magic Bands. We're 56 days out and everything became available last night. Did the bands and booked all FP's for 12 day trip in Dec.
 
Is there an email contact for Disney IT as MDE has only added 1 or my 4 Annual Passes

I had to call today because they didn't have all my tickets linked either. They told me I was not a priority because my check in wasn't until dec 13 and I shouldn't have had any options to chose fast passes or magic bands today. They put a report in and said it would be fixed in 1-2 weeks. :surfweb:

Based on what they told me for my December 4th check-in, 1-2 weeks sounds pretty optimistic. I picture one intern chicken-pecking the data entry line-by-line. Seems kind of ridiculous that it takes so long.

I am happy that I am not the only one this is happening too. Happy that we are seeing options but now just waiting to be able to make some selections. The other family that we are linked to got to customize their bands today while even though I am checking in the same day same place I was not given the option yet. Oh well. Still way excited for all this to ruin my day!!!!:cheer2:
 
Ok now I'm REALLY confused. I thought that you didn't need to do FP+ if you had MB but you DID have to have MB to do FP+????

You need tickets linked for FP+ MB will have the FP's on it along with admission -opening doors-charging. I just did my FP+ for Dec 4th and beyond because I had my AP's linked. I have no MB's yet .
