Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I received my email this morning saying our Magic Bands have been shipped :cool1: However, they are being shipped UPS Ground :drive: so won't be here until tomorrow :( . I know they are coming but I have been waiting so long!!
 
Darn! For BOG lunch, I quickly entered one of my reservations #'s. Turns out that is the second in my linked resort reservations so it is only giving me dates starting then. I have a first reservation # that would include the dates I want for BOG. Now it saved those dates every time I log into the site - no place for me to modify the reservation # or dates or anything, just automatically comes up with the dates I don't want. I want a do over to re-enter my resort reservation #! Anybody know of what I can do, or do I have to call IT?

You can try logging in with (by creating a new account) a different email address. Since this system isn't linked directly to MDE (and reserves by name/reservation ID only) it might work. I did this back before the FPs were put in because my other email address kept bringing up a strange error page when I used it. I entered the reservation number using my second email address and the BOG system found it with no problem.

Now that the FPs are loaded in, my original email works fine, but this method might help in your situation.

Someone else might have a better way, though.

I'm curious does it say where they were shipped from when you go to UPS.com and check the tracking?

It looks like they're getting to the point where maybe they are picking the cheapest way to ship. (hopefully being like amazon prime and trying to get to everyone in 1 or 2 days)
 

Been stuck on "Your MagicBands are being customized and will ship soon" since last Monday. Two calls and was told both times "They're in fulfillment" without any useful information. Just if we get to two weeks before check in, call them back and they'll have them sent to the resort.

Okay, so I called again on Tuesday and they put in an "expedited request" after a bit of pushing on my part. The CM did not seem to think that it would truly help, but perhaps it would draw some attention to it at the fulfillment center in case there actually was an issue.

I had also received a reply from using the contact form on the site that essentially said "they're in fulfillment and we have no further information. Gee, thanks... :confused3

That said, I just got an email from UPS My Choice that a label was generated for a shipment to me from NGE in Memphis, TN via Next Day Air. What's odd is that it's going to my home address and not the work address I actually requested. I wonder if that means my "expedited request" got someone to push something through manually. As long as they show up...
 
Just got lunch fastpass reservation for BOG for Dec 9 for 6 people. We did the "Direct to Table" and preordered our lunch, but does anyone know if we can request no condiments on sandwiches once there, or should we not preorder and request no condiments once there with a person.

I thought that someone said you could modify online once you've ordered. I haven't tried it but maybe I should. My son doesn't like many condiments.

I did direct to table too. Thought it might save some time.
 
Yep, just tried it. On the iPhone app Select modify then view you'll see the orders for each member of your party. At the bottom of the screen you see an edit button hen a modify button will appear next to each item. Once pressed you can choose to omit items.

Yes, you can modify your choices, but I don't see where you can modify the sandwich itself with regular mayo instead of mustard, as an example.

True I could only select omit horseradish or omit arugula, onions and tomatoes on my sandwiches.

But there's probably some mayo I could grab to put on myself there somewhere.

I can't even see those omits. I am using an iPad via website. On my app can't even see the Fastpass reservation.
 
Not sure where to ask this, so since this is friendly thread I'm starting here. Tonight when looking to see if my December MBs shipped using the iPad App - in the record there was a little triangle warning symbol and a message that instructed AP Passholders to go to disneyworld.com to customize MBs.

Has anyone else seen this message? Am I crazy? :rotfl2:
 
Wow, our second set of MBs is already coming today, for our 12/14 check in. My two year old will be very excited to have another "magic bracelet."
