Mike came back yesterday night... he is probably recouperating right now... Janet's flight left tonight (Monday) at 8:00pm so she is up in the air right now somewhere...

I am anxious to hear what they did too... I met Janet in the pool, I think she likes CBR much better than AKL and I believe she is now a DVC'er

Hopefully they will be online tomorrow with nome news.

It's great to be back but boy it was hard leaving!

It was great meeting Cass and sorry I missed MikeJ.

Wendy, I left the Castle All Clean except for maybe some Pixie Dust!

Will get down and write up my reports!

Cass tried to find you the next afternoon 'cause that's when I found out that night that the mystery guest was Mr. Murphy! Apparently his kids were at the pool that afternoon that we met! Also found out that the rest of the Celebs were staying at Coranado!

Gotta get to bed. Just can't wait to see the pile of work today!

We arrived back Monday morning at 12:30am after the 2 hour drive from Flint. The return trip was flawless.

It was fun meeting Cass (and Noel) and SuAnne (and Hayley), but I'm sorry I missed Janet Saturday afternoon. I had told Cass we'd be down at the pool in the afternoon (and my DW was), but following the Sunrise Safari my aging body found the bed more of a necessity than the pool.

I had the ooooold laptop with me and found posting too much of a pain although I was able to post a few brief snippets during the week. I'll be posting a more complete trip report later this week.

Ah well, I'm back to fighting worms and virii here - later.

I must admit, I spent the long weekend lurking, reading Cass's reports. Thank you for that mini vacation. I felt like I was taken away for awhile.

But I must know....did you ever find out why they thought it was Noel's birthday?

ariel... I have no idea why they had it down as Noel's birthday I think Amy at the Beach Club thought it was for some reason? But it never came from me!

MaMadduck... no I never said anything about the food poisoning - just in case it wasn't the chicken puke pie (but I am 99.99999 % positive that it was) you know how you just "know"?

Rain.... well the first week it rained every afternoon... and sometimes all afternoon and evening too the second week was much drier with some days with no rain at all. Spectaular lightning displays and thunder that would shake you to your core.

I was pleasantly surprised by the weather. As Cass reported, most afternoons (and a couple of evenings) you'd get the famous 20-minute torrential downpour followed an hour later by the sun. We had one day where it was overcast when we went into The Land at Epcot, and when we emerged 45 minutes later it had rained (and stopped) and the sun was already out. And for the most part we didn't find the temperature/humidity overly oppressive. Although we were glad for the air conditioned buildings, there are days in southwestern Ontario where the weather can get worse than it was in Orlando, particularly if the smog is bad.

I was, however, even more surprised by the crowds (or lack thereof). Things were busier over the Labour Day weekend, but with the judicious use of Fastpasses we never waited in line more than 20 minutes for any attraction. And if you want to do USF/IoA you have to stay onsite - FotL access for all attractions all day long will really spoil you for anything else.

Our next trip after January's will be a

"WELCOME HOME!" one!

Ricardo made me an offer I just could not refuse! After meeting with him I asked him to hold off on taking my downpayment until Monday. I had hoped to run into MikeJ to ask a few more questions but that was not in the cards!LOL So I left it to chance and if VISA approved the downpayment then it would be a go. Well darn that VISA! They obviously thougth it was a good idea too!LOL

PS Wendy, the closest I found to those pins were Mickey and Minnie. No luck with the others. Sorry, maybe you will have better luck during your trip. If not, will still look during January cruise.

Scratch WELCOME HOME and welcome to the wonderful world of DVC ownership. I take it you bought at BCV or did you get SSR? We own at Hilton Head never plan on going there only to Disney but it was an offer we couldn't say no to. We actually changed our contract from Wilderness Lodge the day we were to sign off on the the papers to Hilton Head the deal was that good.

Bought into SSR, with the $10.00 off points and other incentives worked out well. Plus with DD wanting to go to DisneyQuest all the time, it will be a hop, skip and a jump away!LOL

Hoop De Doo! We loved it! It turns out our table was right up front! Way better than Spirit of Aloha! Not that Spirit wasn't good but we loved the interaction better at Hoop De Doo!

You shouldn't, I loved your reports, more stories from different points of view = greater depth of readers experince.
(I know your joking!) And of course, we want SuAnne to feel like her reports count, even if you stole.....I mean....wrote about her vacation too

BTW- are you guys coming to the DIS meet on Sat. Sept 13th at SQ1- I'd love to see new pictures
