I very, very, VERY rarely buy lottery tickets but I figured what the heck?

It's Friday the 13th - I got fired from my job this morning - I might as well splurge on 3 tickets for a grand total of $3..

If I win, I'll send you all my best wishes from WDW..

Oh - and I'll purchase my former place of employment and turn a certain someone into my very underpaid "gopher"... LOL

Here on the east coast I think it's in about a half-hour.. Don't know if you could still get a ticket or not.. However, if no one wins, it goes up considerably so you could try for the next drawing..

Whenever the jackpot keeps getting up this high we keep saying we need to go buy some tickets...we never seem to get around to it though. We do like to talk about what we'd do with all the money though

ok C.Ann, because of your post , I jumped out of my seat, threw off my my pj's, threw on some clothes and RAN to my car at 10:35 pm!! Off to Cumberland Farms (I called first and she said the drawing is in about 5 minutes), whew I made it. Three quick picks later....

That is SOOOOOO funny - because that is EXACTLY what I was visualizing.. You quick getting dressed, fighting to get your shoes on, hunting all over for your car keys, and then dashing off to the nearest 7/11...

omg, so funny. I think I got dressed in record time, flew right out that door. Now I'm comfy, cozy back in my flannels again with you guys . So when do we find out that we're all millionares??????

Just got back from cashing in our "winning" ticket for $24. Woohoo! I was only expecting $12 (one number plus the mega ball - $3 - with the megaplier - X4) but DH went into the store and came out with 5 new sets of numbers with the megaplier for each for the next drawing ($10) and $14 cash. We had 5 sets of numbers for last night too. Still can't figure out how we won $24. I must have missed something on another line. Anyway, DH was very excited. LOL! Imagine how excited he'll be if we win $177 million!!!

Lisa - If you pay an extra $1 for each set of numbers you play and you win anything but the top prize you multiply that prize by 2, 3 or 4, whichever number is drawn for that night for the megaplier. (I think it's a drawn number anyway. Not really sure how the megaplier number is selected each time.) Last night the megaplier was 4.
