Anyone here had Michelle Shumate as a planner?

omg!!! Can I just tell you thank the gods that you got her!! I am lucky enough to have her as my planner and I simply can not say enough great things about her. She is friendly, smart, and such a sweet heart. She always gets back to me in a timly fashion and always has the asnwers I need. YOu are so lucky nad will def. enjoy planning your day with her help. congrats

Thanks luvndisney....I have spoken to her twice on the phone and she seems very nice, but just wanted to hear from people who have actually had her as well. I'm glad to hear that she is a good planner....I will be meeting her sometime in September to start the planning. So, you are really close to your big day...any suggestions?

in a few words: enjoy it all now. I can honestly say thay I enjoyed planning this wedding so very much and Disney helps that process so much. It was nice to be treated so well by DFTW. I can not wait until my big day but I will miss this planning and excitement in a few months.

As you begin to plan prepare lots of pictures. Its very good to go to your plannign session with imges for your planner...of decorations, or dresses or flowers of food. Anything and everything that can give them inspiration is great. Get swatches of colors and fabrics if you can as well.

I have Michelle Shumate as a planner as well. I have spoken to her a couple of times as well, but she has been very nice. We will be meeting with her on July 4th weekend for our planning session.

Another vote for Michelle. She is my kinda gal. She is so sweet and I find her really good fun. We met with her last month and she is probaly one of the nicest people you could meet. I have spoken with her on the phone many times and I know im in good hands. We have a couple or running jokes together that always get brought up in the converstaion.

Yeah for Michelle.

Good I am so glad to hear wonderful things about her....you always worry that you are going to get someone who you don't mesh with, but I don't think I will have that problem.
