Anyone here from Atlanta?

We just returned from HH and met some nice folks from Atlanta (previously from Ohio). They seemed to think it was a nice place to relocate to and I was wondering if others thought so, too.
If you live in Atlanta, do you like it and would you recommend living there (or near there) to others? Is it crowded? Is it hot?
I'm not going anywhere for a number of years, but I am thinking about where to set my sights for when dh retires!

Our son(29) lived in Atlanta (Buckhead) for 3 years from 97-00,he got his first job there(WVU graduate-MBA) He loved it there. We went down and also enjoyed it there. It is pretty hot there in the summer.
My son moved back towards home (Pittsburgh area) because of his girlfriend(now wife). We are glad they did because now we get to see our grandson( 8 months) more often.
You might want to consider Savannah, my wife loves it there. Less traffic,crowds, close to HH,etc.

My sister has lived in Atlanta for years...we were all born and raised here in Savannah, so Atlanta is like the big city to us! lol
She loves it there. She tried moving back here for a while a few years back, but wound up back up there...To me it's too big and crowded, I don't like having to get on the highway everytime I want to go somewhere. I like to visit her, but I wouldn't want to live there. I guess I'm a small town girl.
