DH and I love Japanese food and have made a reservation here. Just wanted some first hand reports. Thanks! :wave2:

My husband and I ate there in February of this year and we were very happy with our meal. I had the vegetable tempura which was very well prepared. Very light batter on the veggies, and there was a good variety like sweet potato, broccoli, carrots etc. My husband was very pleased with his sushi, he got a sampler platter and everything was good. Very fresh and prepared well. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. Hope you enjoy your meal! :)

Avoid anything with Natto in it, unless you like fermented soybeans.

We weren't that impressed. I couldn't believe that you got four shrimp tempura for $14. Nothing else just the shrimp. Seemed a little pricey for what you got but that was just me.

Where is this place?? I've never heard of it......

It's part of the Paradise Pier Hotel resort. My sister and I ate there one time and liked it very much. We split a plate of California Rolls and also split the NabeYaki-udon soup.

Dinner for three with no alcohol was $100 and not the best, but not bad. For my hundred bucks I'd go back to Granvilles every time.

We ate here in July and sat at the sushi bar had sushi. It's good, we would go back if we were hungry for sushi, but it's not the best I've ever had. You would have no idea that you are Disneyland while eating here, it's just a typical Japanese restaurant.

My husband and I ate here last weekend when we were in DL. I thought the food was great and it seemed like a good value compared to some other hotel restaurants we ate at. We both got "combination platters" - my husband got the teryaki chicken and I got the sashimi and it was a lot of food! Soup, salad, california rolls, rice, tempura and then your meal. The atmosphere was definitely bland and not very "Disney" but the food was great and I thought the prices were decent.

Enjoy!
